However, it was on April 30, 2020, when the incredible actor and Neetu Kapoor's husband, Rishi Kapoor had left for his heavenly abode without any final goodbyes. He had given a tough fight to cancer for the past two years. And since then, Neetu Kapoor is trying to get used to a life without the love of her life. Her children, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Ranbir Kapoor have been her pillar of strength.
On November 20, 2020, veteran actor, Anupam Kher took to his Instagram handle and praised his industry-mate, Neetu Kapoor for returning back to work after the sudden demise of her husband and legendary actor, Rishi Kapoor. Both Neetu ji and Anupam ji met last night in Chandigarh, and the veteran actor shared a note regarding the same along with three adorable pictures from their previous meetings. In his emotional note, Anupam ji heaped praises on Neetu ji, and his note can be read as "Dearest @neetu54!! On November 16, 2020, Neetu Kapoor had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a BTS picture from the sets of her upcoming film, Jug Jugg Jeeyo alongside Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, and Kiara Advani. In the picture, we could see Neetu ji's back, as she could be seen sitting in front of a mirror while a stylist was getting her ready for her shot. For the uninitiated, this is the first movie Neetu ji has signed after the demise of her husband, Rishi Kapoor but the actress had clearly stated that she is a little bit scared for this new beginning. Her emotional caption could be read as "Back on set after so many years. To new beginnings and the magic of the movies. I feel YOUR love and presence.
