Rishi Kapoor’s brother, Randhir Kapoor, had recently opened up about his brother’s treatment in the US. Talking to the Hindustan Times, he had shared, “I don’t know much about it but this much I can tell you that Rishi is doing well, that’s all. Let people say whatever they want to. It must be noted here that while talking to the Economic Times earlier, Randhir Kapoor had said that Rishi Kapoor himself didn’t know about his ailment. Randhir ji had said, “We don't know yet what is the exact nature of his ailment. Rishi himself doesn't know what he's suffering from. He has not even started undergoing tests there; how can people speculate that he has cancer and that too, one that has escalated to an advanced stage.” (You May Like: Saumya Tandon Gets Trolled For Resuming Workout After Two-Months Of Delivery)
He had further added, “Let him undergo tests peacefully; whatever the results, we will let everyone know. He only reached America two-three days ago and so far, he was being prepared for the tests that he has to undergo. Depending on what the results are, his line of treatment, medication and other modalities will be decided upon. It’s not fair to speculate things just like that.”
Randhir Kapoor recently visited Rishi Kapoor in the US along with his elder daughter, Karisma Kapoor. Neetu Singh had shared the following picture on Instagram and adorably captioned it as, “The bestest brothers ever their conversation is only food though #family #bond #forever.”
In 2018, when it was first reported that Rishi Kapoor is in the US undergoing some treatment due to an undisclosed ailment, there was a flood of reports alleging his cancer. Recently, his daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni had opened up about her father’s treatment and health. She was quoted as saying, “He’s fine, nothing to worry about. I was never worried anyway. He’s just getting his routine tests done, as he said on Twitter, after so many years of wear and tear. He’s getting everything done, so hoping for the best.”
On September 29, 2018, Rishi Kapoor himself had tweeted, “I am taking a short leave of absence from work to go to America for some medical treatment. I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. It's been 45 years 'plus' of wear and tear at the movies. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon!” (Don't Miss: Radhika Merchant Flaunts Royalty In A Vintage Gown From Akash Ambani-Shloka Mehta's Switzerland Bash)
