Neha Kakkar Cries On Stage After Arriving 3 Hours Late To Her Concert, Netizens Say, 'Naya Nahi Hai'

Neha Kakkar is one of the most loved female playback singers in Bollywood. Her journey from a humble background to success has inspired many upcoming singers. The diva won hearts with her style, versatile singing and candid attitude. She never stops trying new things and fans often support her in new endeavours. However, Neha recently left her fans upset after arriving three hours late for her concert in Melbourne, Australia and cried onstage over it. At the same time, a video from the incident went viral, and netizens called out Neha Kakkar for her unprofessional behaviour.

Neha Kakkar recently held her concert in Melbourne, Australia. A clip from the event went viral on Reddit where the singer was seen shedding tears after she arrived three hours late to her concert that left the audience standing at the venue for hours. The singer got emotional and immediately apologised on stage when she arrived and said she would never forget the night. In her words: 

"Guys, you are really sweet! You have been patient. Itni der se aap log wait kar rahe ho. I hate it, maine life mein kabhi kisi ko wait nahi karwaya hai. Aap itni der se wait kar rahe ho, I’m so sorry! It means a lot to me. I will remember this evening forever. Aaj aap log mere liye itna kimti time nikaal kar aaye ho. I will make sure that I will make you all dance."

However, not everyone was happy about it. Some fans cheered and clapped to console a visibly emotional Neha, but the others were irked and began chanting angry slogans. In the video, the angry audience said, "Go back! Rest in your hotel." Another man shouted, "This is not India; you're in Australia." A third person mocked the singer's emotional breakdown and said, "Very good acting! This is not Indian Idol. You're not performing with kids."

Netizens tag Neha Kakkar's behaviour as 'unprofessional'

When the video went viral, Reddit users called Neha Kakkar out for her behaviour on stage. Some users were unhappy with her three-hour-long delays, while others slammed her for crying over it. One user penned, "Artists being late isn't an Indian problem; it is a problem for all artists everywhere. Nonetheless, if this is a regular thing, I am glad it's being called out." Another netizen mocked her crying and wrote, "She cries over the smallest things, naya kuch nahi hai."

Neha Kakkar began singing at a young age when she began performing at local gatherings and religious events at 4. She began her career in entertainment industry after she participated in the second season of Indian Idol and released her debut album. The singer lent her voice to songs in different languages, but her song, Second Hand Jawaani from Cocktail, became a breakthrough in her career, and Neha never looked back.
