Nepali Singer, Sachin Pariyar, Rose To Fame For Song 'Otha Kholera' Died At 15 Due To Health Issues

Sachin Pariyar is a popular Nepali child singer and is best known for the hit iconic song, Otha Kholera. The year began with unfortunate news for the child artist's fans, as the latter tragically passed away at the age of 15 on January 2, 2025. According to the reports, the young artist was being treated in Kathmandu at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, where he passed away. The hospital sources have confirmed that Sachin was battling several severe health conditions. After years of extensive treatment, his health kept on deteriorating, leading to his unfortunate demise.

Sachin Pariyar was being treated for a congenital trilateral ventricular cyst

Sachin Pariyar had been receiving treatment for a congenital trilateral ventricular cyst. The child artist had to undergo neurosurgery for the brain condition. In addition to that, Sachin was also managing several medical issues, including central diabetes insipidus, a rare disorder affecting the regulation of fluids in the body, which required daily medication. Despite his medical struggles, Sachin showed remarkable musical talents and acting skills, which had won him the hearts of fans.

Sachin Pariyar was admitted to the hospital with acute fever and seizures

As reported, Sachin Pariyar was admitted to the hospital with a high fever, seizures and altered consciousness on December 28, 2024. His worsening condition caused him to develop severe complications, including pneumonia, multiple organ dysfunction, acute kidney injury, encephalopathy, and a bleeding disorder. The medical staff at the hospital tried their best to save the little singer with intensive care, ventilatory support, antibiotics, and blood transfusions.

However, his condition continued to deteriorate, and on the fifth day of his hospitalization, Sachin suffered severe pulmonary bleeding. The bleeding led to a lack of oxygen and, ultimately, cardiac arrest. Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital issued a statement about Sachin Pariyar's demise on January 2, 2025, confirming that the child artist was receiving treatment there for the past 5 years. 

Sachin Pariyar's short yet impactful music career

Sachin Pariyar's passing is a great loss to the Nepali music and entertainment community. Although his career was brief, it left an impactful mark on the entertainment scene. His popular song, Otha Kholera, showcased both his music and acting talents. The song earned him over 19 million views on YouTube by January 2, 2025. The child artist also appeared alongside popular singers, including Kamala Ghimire, Karuna Rai, and Govinda Paudel. He also worked with actor Rajesh Hamal on a song called, Bar Ko Chhayanle.
