Global icon, Priyanka Chopra had got married to her actor-singer husband, Nick Jonas as per both Hindu and Christian rituals. The couple had embraced parenthood by welcoming their first baby via surrogacy, and currently, they are basking in the glory of the new chapter of their lives. Though Nick and Priyanka have not yet revealed the gender of their child, however, as per multiple media reports, the couple is blessed with a baby girl, and they have named her Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.
For the unversed, it was on January 22, 2022, when Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her husband, Nick Jonas had announced the birth of their first child on their respective IG handles. The couple had shared a picture message revealing that they had welcomed a baby via surrogacy and had requested privacy from everyone so that their family could celebrate the occasion. Their note could be read as:
"We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much."

Priyanka Chopra Jonas will turn 40 years old on July 18, 2022. In an interview with Travel and Leisure, the new mommy revealed that 2022 has been a life-changing year for her and talked about her birthday plans after becoming a mom. Sharing that she and her hubby, Nick Jonas plan each other's birthday, Priyanka said:
"This has been a really life-changing year for me. It's the next decade of my life. I don't know what we're going to do yet, because my husband and I plan each other's birthday, but I know what state of mind I want to be in. Also, I hope I have sand between my toes while I turn 40."
Further in the interview, Priyanka also talked about her road trips with her family during summer vacations and shared that they used to travel from one city to another. She recalled how her father, Dr Ashok Chopra used to make a special seat for her in the trunk of the car during her childhood vacations and added that it was like a special castle made just for her. In her words:
"There were all these mattresses and blankets and my dad would make that my secret spot. I didn't realize until I was much older that it basically just got him an extra seat for somebody else. But that used to be so magical in the trunk with the luggage — it was my special castle that was created just for me."

Priyanka Chopra hasn't visited India in the last two years, and her mom, Madhu has also not met her granddaughter yet. In the same interview, Priyanka praised India's diversity and revealed that she is dying to go back to India. Talking about her idea of a vacation, Priyanka mentioned:
"I am dying to go back to India. It's like going to a new country every time you cross the border in India. For me travelling means not always sticking to plans and being a nomad when you travel. But my mom and husband are very different."
On the work front, Priyanka will be next seen in the web series, Citadel.
