Ishita Dutta is amongst the most fabulous newbie mommies in Tinseltown. Married to actor, Vatsal Sheth, the duo welcomed their baby boy, Vaayu on July 20, 2023. Right from her pregnancy journey to recording the first timers of a new mommy, Ishita has been sharing snippets from the new chapter of her life with her fans. And now, the diva talked about facing mother’s guilt for the first time, as she did something without her son.
Taking to her IG handle on November 21, 2023, Ishita Dutta took to her IG handle and dropped an array of pictures from her recent London visit. In the glimpses, the actress could be seen enjoying a gala time with her friends. From visiting the iconic London Eye to savouring some delicious desserts, Ishita’s pictures simply set goals. However, it was her note, that melted several hearts. The newbie mommy talked about her first trip after pregnancy and added that she experienced terrible mom’s guilt for the same. In her words:
“First trip post pregnancy, first trip without Vaayu and my first trip to London. I laughed, I cried, I ate, I slept, I danced, I walked, I shopped and I finally felt like myself again…Yes I was dipped in moms guilt and yes I did have fun and yes I will do this from time to time for myself, but all this happened only cause of my amazing husband, my parents and in-laws who gave me the confidence to leave my 4 month old. Thanku for making this happen and Thanku for pushing me to do this for myself…”

In a previous interaction with The Indian Express, Ishita Dutta opened up about her new journey as a mother to her baby boy, Vaayu. She mentioned that, at first, it appeared to be a crazy journey, and she felt all over the place. However, she later added how she learnt the value of taking time for herself. In her words:
“That has been my focus from day one. A lot of mothers go through guilt but one needs to be happy to raise a happy kid. If you have a support system, I feel every mother and father needs to step out and spend time alone and as a couple. I didn’t even wait for 40 days and decided to go out in 2-3 days, because I was so overwhelmed and emotional.”
In an earlier interview with ETimes, Ishita talked about resuming her work right after two months of her delivery. She mentioned that although she did the maximum amount of her work from her home itself, but resuming the outdoor shoot made her feel refreshed and recharged after a long time.

Earlier on October 23, 2023, Ishita Dutta took to her IG handle and dropped stunning glimpses of herself along with her hubby, Vatsal and their son, Vaayu, as they celebrated Durga puja together. It was all things special for the newbie parents, as it was their son’s first Durga puja with them.
