Bollywood actress, Sonakshi Sinha and the love of her life, Zaheer Iqbal embarked on the new journey of their lives on June 23, 2024. After getting hitched, they are also reportedly hosting a grand reception for their friends and colleagues from Bollywood. Ahead of that, an intimate mehendi ceremony and other pre-wedding celebrations were also hosted at Sonakshi's daddy, Shatrughan Sinha's house, Ramayan. Thus, the bride-to-be's fans are impatiently waiting to get glimpses of the same.
Soon after registering their marriage, Sonakshi Sinha and her husband, Zaheer Iqbal sent sweet boxes to the paparazzi stationed outside the wedding venue. In the glimpses that surfaced on the internet, we can spot golden embellished bags carrying a big box of sweets and atop it was a note from the newlyweds. In the note, the newly married couple expressed their gratitude towards the paps and penned:
"Thank you for showering us with so much love, happiness and kindness on the most important day of our lives! Your support and wishes mean the world to us! Lots of love, Sonakshi and Zaheer."

On June 22, 2024, Sonakshi Sinha's mommy, Poonam Sinha and the entire Sinha family arranged a puja at their residence, Ramayana. In the videos shared by several paparazzi pages on Instagram, Poonam was seen being seated with a few pandits while a havan was being performed.

The entire house was decorated with floral chains and lights for the auspicious occasion. In another video, the radiant bride-to-be was seen dressed in a traditional blue-hued co-ord set paired with a sheer dupatta. She was also seen flaunting a huge diamond ring and smiling her best while posing.

Recently, in an interview with Free Press Journal, Sonakshi Sinha’s father-in-law, Iqbal Ratansi, revealed if the actress would convert to Islam after her wedding with Zaheer Iqbal. The doting father-in-law shared that Sonakshi would not embrace Islam, and the couple’s union would only signify their love for one another, which would not be related to their respective religions. Iqbal Ratansi said:
“She is not converting, and that is for sure. Theirs is a union of hearts, and religion has no role to play whatsoever. I believe in humanity. God is called Bhagwan by Hindus and Allah by Muslims. But at the end of the day, we are all human beings. My blessings are with Zaheer and Sonakshi.”
