Dalljiet Kaur has been hitting the headlines with her personal life. For the unversed, the actress got married to a Kenya-based businessman, Nikhil Patel, and only after eight months of their marital bliss, problems started arising in their marital life. While initially, Dalljiet remained silent about the same, later, she revealed how her husband denied their marriage and even had an extramarital affair. Meanwhile, Nikhil took legal action against Dalljiet for using social media against him and making claims without his consent. Dalljiet replied back by issuing a stay order against the businessman. Amid this, sources revealed that Nikhil had used the actress to gain fame in India, which the actress seemingly confirmed.
A source close to the development had told Zoom that the reason that Nikhil got married to Dalljiet was because he wanted to gain fame in India, and nobody would have written about him if he was not married to a celebrity. The source added that Nikhil was so desperate to gain fame in India that he didn't mind ruining some women's life, and he practically gained nothing out of it but still continued to do the same. The source can be quoted as saying:
"Would anybody in India have written about Nikhil Patel before he married Dalljiet? Not at all. Nikhil Patel's only claim to fame in India is that he has married Dalljiet Kaur, who is a celebrity. He wanted to become famous in India and sadly, his desperation in this regard drove him to spoil some women's lives. He has achieved practically nothing by ditching Dalljiet, but some people in this world are so hollow that they don't repent of their wrongdoings at all."

Another source added how Nikhil followed each Indian tradition and got married to Dalljiet, but now he is not even calling it a wedding. The source mentioned that what is more painful is that Nikhil's seniors who attended the wedding are not coming up in support of the actress and her son. The source added:
"Patel has made fun of our traditions and culture by declaring to the world that he's marrying an Indian girl and now not even calling it a wedding. Do mangalsutra and sindoor hold no value for him? What also is hurting is that quite a few of the senior personnel from the company he works for attended Dalljiet and Nikhil's wedding, but not one of them is coming ahead and stepping up for the lady and her son."
Another source, while talking to Zoom, revealed that Nikhil Patel knew that he would be concerned when Dalljiet used social media to make allegations about him. For the same, Nikhil might have thought to gain publicity by bringing his personal life out in the limelight, and for the same, he also hired a publicist to help him publish his press releases to the media. The source mentioned:
"Patel knew he would be cornered when Kaur alleged that he had not been faithful to her. So, he suddenly thought, why shouldn't he derive publicity from his personal life by making it more public? So, he went ahead and hired a publicist who would help him release his press releases exclusively to a section of the media, fully aware that it would soon be picked up by other media houses as well. If Patel says that he does not want to get into publicity stunts (as his recent press release conveys), then isn't he contradicting himself by starting an orchestrated campaign of releasing even the legal aspects of their dispute in the public domain? Patel should learn that he should practice what he preaches."
Soon after, Dalljiet Kaur was reported to have issued a stay order against Nikhil Patel, the latter's PR team tagged these claims to be false. As reported by Zoom, Dalljiet reacted to the same through her Instagram handle. The actress penned a lengthy note and slammed her estranged husband, which she seemingly deleted later, and is not currently available on her IG. Dalljiet Kaur slammed Nikhil for making fun of Indian culture and ruining her life just for the sake of gaining fame.

Dalljiet mentioned that their wedding was mainly a publicity stunt for Nikhil. She had written, "The cultural event that was clearly for publicity wasn't good enough, it seems." In the same story, the actress urged Nikhil to stop using her name for fame and mentioned that the businessman has even hired a PR for the same. Talking about Nikhil's desperation for publicity, Dalljiet had written:
"Stop seeking publicity for my name, for god's sake! And message my number directly. Stop being so desperate for fame. You have already managed to do your cultural event/PR party on March 18 and gained enough publicity. The fact that you hired a PR is the biggest joke. You couldn't have hired someone before March 18th in India to get published about your personal life."
