After recently concluding her youngest son, Anant Ambani's wedding ceremony, Nita Ambani headed to France to attend an event of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Nita Ambani attends the 142nd International Olympic Committee (IOC) Session in Paris

Recently, Nita Ambani visited the capital of France to attend the opening ceremony of the 142nd International Olympic Committee (IOC) Session at the Louis Vuitton Foundation. In a picture shared by an Ambani fan page, she was seen being warmly received by the French President, Emmanuel Macron, who had bent down to show his respect to her. Meanwhile, the President of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, also greeted her.

Nita Ambani once again proved that she is deeply rooted in her culture. For the event, the Chairperson of Reliance Foundation wore a red full-sleeved suit adorned with intricate golden threadwork. She looked extremely beautiful in her outfit, which she accessorised with minimal jewellery. She opted for subtle glam and open tresses to complete her look.

Mukesh Ambani's doting wife, Nita Ambani, is a multi-hyphenated personality who gracefully aces all her responsibilities. In October 2023, the Ambanis warmly welcomed the IOC President, Thomas Bach, following some Hindu rituals just a few days ahead of the 141st IOC session. In one of the pictures shared by an Ambani fan page, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani could be seen posing with their esteemed guest.

When Nita Ambani manifested bringing the Olympics to India

Nita Ambani was elected as an IOC member in 2016 and became the first Indian woman to be part of the committee. However, few people are aware that Nita Ambani stated her wish to host the world's largest athletic event, the Olympics, in India around two decades ago. In a video of Nita giving an interview on Doordarshan Sports at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, she expressed her desire to bring the IOC to India. She was quoted as saying:

“It is my wish that in the years to come, there will come a day when we will witness the Olympic ceremony take place in our country, and this day surely will come.”
