Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding preparations are in swing. The Ambanis are making sure to keep an eye on every teeny-tiny detail of the wedding. From the wedding locations to cards and many more, they want everything to be made in India this time. Not only this, Anant and Radhika, instead of choosing an International location, opted for Jamnagar, Gujrat, to host their pre-wedding festivities.
Adding to the festivities, Nita Ambani has collaborated with Gujarat's women artisans, who are weaving special stoles to give the guests. The women were seen crafting bandhani scarves with interesting work. Nita Ambani met the ladies and expressed her gratitude and also learned how the weave is made and how they are making the scarves especially to honour the bride and the groom.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding festivities have kickstarted with their first function — Lagan Lakhvanu. The bride-to-be, Radhika picked a pastel blue-toned lehenga from Anamika Khanna. Her outfit featured a beautiful floral pink choli, which was teamed with a pastel blue-toned lehenga with a matching dupatta, which was pinned over her shoulder in a saree style. Radhika accessorised her look with a three-layered neckpiece, matching earrings, a maang teeka, and a diamond bracelet.
Radhika kept her makeup minimal for the afternoon function. Highlighted makeup with soft pink cheeks, glossy lips, perfectly lined eyes and a red bindi completed her look. Wavy centre-parted hair added the needed glam to her look.
For those who don't know, Lagan Lakhvanu is the first Gujarati wedding ceremony. The ceremony marks the writing of the first wedding invite, which is called Kankotri. It is then presented to God as a token of invitation and the family seeks blessings for the soon-to-be married couple and their families. Radhika and Anant are rooted in their religion, which is one of the reasons why we are going to see them following a lot of traditions.
We cannot wait to see glimpses of Radhika and Anant's pre-wedding festivities!
