One year ago, on August 12, 2019, Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan fame, Niti Taylor had introduced her beau, Parikshit Bawa to the world by posting a ‘lost in each other’s eyes’ picture with him. Millions of hearts were shattered back then but her fans were genuinely happy that she found love and is planning to settle down with him. Since then, reports were rife that Niti and Parikshit might plan a 2020 wedding, and even February was expected to be the month of their union by the gossip mills. Niti Taylor hadn't let the pandemic low her enthusiasm for her wedding. In an open letter to every bride-to-be like her, whose wedding was postponed or the ones dealing with altered plans, Niti had raised a toast with her sweet message. Little did we know that soon we will be getting a pleasant surprise from Niti about her secret wedding with the love of her life, Parikshit Bawa. On October 6, 2020, Niti had announced her intimate Gurudwara wedding with Parikshit and had shared a wedding video along with a few pictures from the ceremony. While Niti had announced her wedding after almost two months, she had posted a lot of pictures on her social media profile since then. But we were eagerly waiting to see her post-wedding look, flaunting the bridal charm.

Our wishes were finally granted when Niti Taylor’s friends congratulated her with a picture and a video from a post-wedding party and she reposted them on her IG stories. Finally, we got a glimpse of the newbie bride, Niti, flaunting her chooda and bridal glow in an orange-coloured kurta as she danced with her friends and hubby, Parikshit Bawa. Niti and Parikshit danced with their friends on the song, Maston Ka Jhund from Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. The newly-wedded couple also posed for a picture with their friends from their post-wedding party at home.
Announcing the news of her wedding with Parikshit Bawa, Niti Taylor had shared a video, comprising of beautiful moments from the ceremonies. Niti had captioned her post as “My journey from Miss to Mrs is complete. I'd like to share with all my well wishers that I tied the knot with Parikshit on 13 August 2020. We had a very small, quiet and intimate wedding with just our parents, aka, Covid wedding. I can finally say out loud "Hello Husband" Making my own happiness in 2020!! Also, I'm announcing this late because we were hoping that the Covid-19 pandemic would die down sooner and we could celebrate in a big way - but hoping for a better 2021. Niti Taylor then had posted a picture with Parikshit Bawa, as they walked holding hands in their wedding attires and Mrs Bawa had captioned it with the song, Mere Liye Tum Kaafi Ho from the film, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. Niti had written, “MRS Niti Parikshit Bawa Tum kuch adhure se, Hum bhi kuch aadhe, Aadha aadha hum jo dono mila de, To ban jayegi apni ek jindgani, Ye duniya mile na mile hum ko, Khushiya bhaga dengi har gham ko, Tum saath ho phir kya baaki hai, Mere liye tum kaafi ho #partitayles.” Niti had also posted a solo picture of herself and had captioned it as “Once in a lifetime you meet someone who changes Everything.”
In an interview with The Times of India, Niti Taylor had confirmed her intimate Gurudwara wedding with Parikshit Bawa and had revealed the details about the same. Revealing that she had just one week to prepare for the wedding, Niti had said, “We had a ceremony at a gurudwara in Gurgaon, which was attended only by our parents and immediate family. The decision to tie the knot on August 13 was taken on August 6, which gave me just a week to prepare for my big day. We had our extended families and friends participate in the do, virtually.”
Revealing that they haven’t planned a honeymoon yet, Niti Taylor had continued, “That will happen once things become normal again and after we celebrate with our family and friends. For now, it’s more of a fun-moon.” Speaking about how they were initially planning to tie the knot at the end of October and why they had decided to get married on their engagement date, Niti had remarked, “We were planning to get married at the end of October. However, owing to the COVID-19 situation and understanding that it won’t improve drastically, we decided to advance the wedding and exchange nuptial vows on our engagement date.
