“Kaanon mein ikk dil ki baat sunavaan ni, Tenu hansda vekh jag nu main bhul jaavan ni… Nakhre kyun kardi ae, Mainu jachda nahi, Kinna sawaal kardi ae, Enna main sunta nahi, Hor dass kinniya tareefan, Chahidi ae tenu…” And this song has become an epitome of the girlie love for all the ‘veeres’ in the town! So was the case with Niti Taylor, who had recently exchanged the rings with her prince charming. For the ones who have been living under the rocks all this while, 24-year-old, Niti Taylor had gotten engaged to her soon-to-be-hubby, Lieutenant Parikshit Bawa on August 13, 2019. It was on August 12, 2019, that Niti had taken to her official Instagram handle and had announced the news of her engagement. Do you know Niti’s engagement bash was totally a grand affair? Why? Because it was preceded not only by a fun-filled mehendi ceremony, but there was also a bachelorette bash for her. In case you missed the pictures from the two pre-engagement functions, here are the glimpses:
The couple’s official photographer The Glam Wedding, posted the latest video of the excited bride-to-be dancing with her girl tribe on her engagement night on the song Tareefan from Veere Di Wedding. The caption of their post could be read as, “So here is the Gorgeous @nititaylor Dancing with her Gang because where is the fun without the bride tribe @chandnibhagwanani @renee_malik @ananyag8.” Checkout the video here (swipe right):
Niti and Parikshit's love chronicle is a total filmy one as she herself had revealed to the Bombay Times, “I knew Parikshit from school and back then, we were good friends. A few months ago, we reconnected on Instagram. When I started to know him better, I realised that he is a gem of a person. I met him in Delhi. My parents met him too, and they also liked him a lot. The best part about having Parikshit in my life is that we share the same qualities.” (Do Read: Sameera Reddy's Four-Year-Old Son, Hans Varde Turns 'Mumma's Little Assistant' For His Sister, Nyra)

In the same chat, Niti had also shared that she never wanted to tie the knot with an actor and revealed her wedding plans with fiancé, Pariskhit. She was quoted as saying, “I have always said that I will not marry someone from showbiz. I am happy that I am getting married to a man of my parents’ and my choice.” And had further stated, “We don’t plan to get married this year. Hopefully, it should happen next year. My fiancé’s job takes him to different places, while I am currently based in Mumbai.”
Announcing her engagement, Niti had shared a 'lost in each other's eyes' picture with her beau, along with the caption that could be read as “We decided on FOREVER. On the eve of beginning my life's most beautiful moment, I feel all the love and happiness there possibly can be. It only feels complete after letting you all know. I've had your love and support since the past decade and with great happiness, I'd like to inform everyone that I'm getting ENGAGED! We would like to share this moment with you all and seek your blessings and good wishes for this new innings in our lives… #PARTITAYLES.” (Checkout: Mishal Raheja Of 'Kumkum Bhagya' Wishes To Spend His 2019 Birthday With A Mysterious Girl)
Also, for the ones who don't know, Niti Taylor was linked up to Kaisi Yeh Yariyaan co-star, Parth Samthaan, when they were doing the show together. Taking a dig, she had once told an online portal, “He is someone who doesn’t matter to me at all. I would never make peace with him; I have been through a lot because of him. What has happened has happened. I really don’t want to get into the matter now, since it’s pretty complicated, and things were blown out of proportion. I think what happens behind closed doors should remain there itself. So, today, if you ask me, I really don’t know who Parth Samthaan is.” (Do Read: Khushi Kapoor And Shanaya Kapoor Shell Out Sibling Goals As They Enjoy A Pool Party In Bali)
