Popular Bigg Boss 18 contestant, Vivian Dsena has been a mystery man for his fans since before he joined the show. While his personal life has always been a matter of intrigue, his wife, former journalist, Nouran Aly, is breaking her silence on controversies and their marriage.
Nouran has always maintained a low profile and did not entertain media attention until her first appearance on Bigg Boss 18, where she created a stir with her sharp reality check on Vivian and other housemates. Recently, Nouran appeared for a candid chat with the Bombay Times, talking about her marriage and the controversies that have come up surrounding her husband, Vivian, over the years. Nouran told the Bombay Times:
“They began living separately in 2016, and I met him two years later for work. So, how could he have cheated on her? Their divorce was already underway, delayed further by COVID. During this time, he was in talks with my family. We got engaged and eventually married in December 2022. The timelines don’t support these rumours.”
For the unversed, Vivian’s ex-wife, Vahbiz Dorabjee had previously accused the actor of having cheated on her with Nouran during their marriage. Nouran simply dismissed them as rumours and came up with facts that did not match Vahbiz’s prior allegations.
Vivian met Nouran Aly during an interview, and their connection eventually blossomed into love. Following a period of long-distance courtship, the two tied the knot in December 2022, a year after Vivian’s legal separation from Vahbiz. After meeting Nouran, Vivian converted his religion to Islam. Talking about the same, Nouran shared:
“When he first proposed, I declined because of our cultural differences. I didn’t want him to feel pressured to adopt my faith. His decision to convert was entirely his own, and something he thought through deeply.”
Vivan Dsena is currently one of the strongest contestants in the Bigg Boss house, and is popularly called the show’s laadla. Talking about his stint on the show, Nouran admitted that being apart from him for so long has been quite challenging for her. However, she expressed mixed feelings about the ‘laadla’ tag. Nouran said:

“It’s a label that could undermine his efforts. Even if he wins on merit, people might dismiss it as favouritism. My only concern is that this perception could overshadow his dedication. Vivian’s loyalty to the channel spans 12 years, which is uncommon in this industry. Every season has a channel favourite; this time, they’ve simply chosen to acknowledge it openly.”
