In an interview with The Times Of India, the Chhalaang actress revealed how her mother is eager to find the right match for her life partner, and how she avoids the situation from being more chaotic about it. She said:
“Main ye bhi nahi bol sakti ki mummy aap ladka dhund lo, main shadi karlugi. Woh sach mein dhund lenge. Toh apne hi paer pe main kulhaadi nahi maar sakti. Best tip I can give anyone is don’t fight it. The more you fight it, the more kalesh (chaos) there will be and more they will force you to do something you don't want to do.”
Further going into the interview, she mentioned that she goes on dinner dates with the rishtas that her mother sends. She lets the person choose the best places, goes to the top 5 restaurants in the city and then ends the discussion by letting the person know that this is not going to happen.

In an old interview with Zoom, Nushrratt had talked about the same and had mentioned that she was being pressurized to get married at an early stage because of her culture. She belongs to a Bohri Muslim family, and girls in these families are bound to get married early. She had said:
"I conned them. It was years of conning. It was tough because I come from a Bohri Muslim family and in Bohri Muslim families, girls are married off at a very young age. I don't understand why but it's just a cultural thing. Even boys get married really early. So, after I did 1-2 films, I had the pressure that now get married. So, I conned my parents saying that only one more film I'll finish and then I'll get married."
In an interview with Pinkvilla, back in 2020, Nushrratt's mother had opened up about how her family gets upset for her not wanting to get married. Further talking about the same, the actress's mother said:
