Nushrratt Bharuccha, who was stuck in Israel amid the ongoing war between Israel and the Palestinian militant group, Hamas, has finally been contacted. The actress had flown down to Israel to attend the Haifa International Film Festival. However, as a war broke out in the country, she was unable to be contacted. For the unversed, Nushrratt has carved her name in the acting industry by working in popular films like Sonu Ke Tittu Ki Sweety, Dream Girl, Janhit Mein Jaari, Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Ram setu, Chhorii and many more.
In a conversation with India TV, Nushrratt Bharuccha's team issued an official statement regarding the reports about the actress being stranded in Israel. Talking about the same, her team revealed that they have finally been able to contact Nushrratt. Mentioning that with the help of the Indian Embassy in Israel, the actress is being brought back to the country. The team also added that they cannot share more details about Nushrratt because of safety concerns. The official statement can be read as:
"We have finally managed to get in touch with Nushrratt, and with the help of the Embassy, she is being safely brought back home. We did not get a direct flight, so she is on a connecting flight home. For her further safety, more details cannot be shared, but as soon as she lands in India, we will inform you. We are relieved and thank god that she is safe and on her way to India."

During the same interview with India TV, Nushrratt's mother, Tasneem expressed her happiness and shared that her daughter is coming back home safely. Talking to the media, the diva's mother said:
"We are very happy."
Earlier, Nushrratt Bharuccha's team had issued a statement and informed everyone that the actress had been stuck in Israel amid the ongoing war. As per a report in India Today, it was mentioned that her team was not able to contact her. Mentioning that the actress had gone to Israel to attend a film festival, her team stated that the last time they contacted her, she was in a safe basement. The statement could be read as:
"Nushrratt has been unfortunately stranded in Israel. She had flown there to attend the Haifa International Film Festival. The last time that I managed to get in touch with her was around 12.30 pm earlier today, when she was safe in a basement. For safety measures, further details cannot be disclosed. However, since then, we were not able to connect. We are trying to get Nushrratt back safely to India and hope she returns back in the best of health and unharmed."
