'Anupamaa' Actor, Nitesh Pandey Passes Away At The Mere Age Of 51 After Suffering Cardiac Arrest

Popular actor, Nitesh Pandey left for the heavenly abode on May 24, 2023, at the mere age of 51, after suffering a heart attack.

'Anupamaa' Actor, Nitesh Pandey Passes Away At The Mere Age Of 51 After Suffering Cardiac Arrest

It seems that the Indian entertainment industry is going through an extremely emotional phase right now. Days after the news of Aditya Singh Rajput's untimely death due to drug overdose and a few hours after Vaibhavi Upadhyaya passed away in a car accident, now the heartwrenching news of losing popular actor, Nitesh Pandey surfaced on the internet. The Om Shanti Om and Anupamaa fame, Nitesh left for the mortal planes after suffering from a cardiac arrest on May 24, 2023. 

Nitesh Pandey passed away after suffering a heart attack

The 51-year-old actor, Nitesh Pandey passed away on May 24, 2023, after suffering a heart attack at Igatpurinear Nashik, where he was shooting on May 23, 2023. As per reports, he passed away almost immediately after the cardiac arrest. In a short interview with the ETimes, Nitesh's brother-in-law and producer, Siddharth Nagar confirmed the news. Siddharth said:

"Yes you have heard it right. My brother-in-law is no more, my sister Arpita Pandey is in a state of shock. Nitesh's father has left for Igatpuri to get his mortal remains. They should be here by the afternoon."

In the same conversation, Siddharth added that he, Nitesh's second wife, Arpita Pandey and their other family members are absolutely shocked due to the news. For the unversed, Nitesh was earlier married to Ashwini Kalsekar, however, they had separated in 2002. Later, Nitesh tied the knot for the second time with TV actress, Arpita Pandey. Nitesh's brother-in-law also added that the actor had no history of a heart ailment. In Siddharth's words:

"We have gone absolutely numb, I have not been able to even talk to Arpita after the tragedy. I am headed to Igatpuri as well, I am in the train right now. I was coming back from Delhi when I heard about this. Nitesh was much younger than me. He was a very lively person and I don't think he had a history of any heart ailment."

Nitesh rose to fame for playing the role of Shah Rukh's assistant in the 2007 film, Om Shanti Om. Afterwards, Nitesh was seen in many other films and TV serials, including Dabangg 2, Khosla Ka Ghosla Manzilein Apani Apani, Astitva---Ek Prem Kahani, Saaya, Justajoo and others.
