Palak Tiwari, who is basking in the success of her film with Salman Khan, talked about not entering the television industry like her mom, Shweta Tiwari. For those who don't know, Palak Tiwari rose to fame with her song, Bijlee Bijlee. On the other hand, Shweta Tiwari is considered the OG bahu of television, thanks to her popular show, Kasautii Zingadii Kay in 2001. Recently, Palak shared why she never followed her mom, Shweta's footsteps and entered the film industry.
Recently, in an interview with Mastiii, Palak shared why she never joined television. Palak stated that she doesn't think she would be able to make it big on television as people would always compare her with her mom, Shweta. She added that her mom had done everything on television for so many years, and she had no chance against her. Palak was quoted as saying:
"I knew that I wanted to do movies. I feel my mom did TV for so many years and she has handled and done everything so well. There is nothing left for me to do. And there would anyways be comparison, but I think I never stood a chance in TV. Movies for me was comparatively a bit difficult to enter, but in TV, my mom has a legacy. So that was very easy for me, I got a lot of offers. But I didn’t want to do it."

A while ago, Palak got brutally trolled for her outfit. It all happened when she posted a picture of herself in a bralette and trousers, everyone noticed her ribcage. She got brutally trolled for the same. Reacting to this, Palak Tiwari's mom, Shweta Tiwari, shared that her daughter is brilliant when it comes to handling trolls. She also added that her daughter's generation has to deal with many things, including trolls.
Earlier, in an interview with The Times Of India, Shweta shared that she doesn't believe in marriages anymore. In fact, she also tells her daughter, Palak not to marry. Shweta revealed that she wants her daughter to think twice before getting married. The actress was quoted as saying:
"I don’t believe in the institution of marriage. In fact, I even tell my daughter not to get married. It’s her life and I don’t dictate to her how to lead it, but I want her to think well before taking the plunge. Just because you are in a relationship, it doesn’t have to culminate into marriage. Life mein shaadi karna bahut zaoori hai aur shaadi ke bina zindagi kaise chalegi yeh nahi hona chahiye."
