Popular television actress, Shweta Tiwari's daughter, Palak Tiwari has become the new sensation with her stint in Harrdy Sandhu's music video, Bijlee Bijlee. The actress is quite vocal about the double beauty standards of the Bollywood industry and also never steps back from giving befitting replies to trolls, who shame her body type and call her 'too plain'. Now, in a recent media interaction, she reacted to her link-up rumours with Saif Ali Khan's son, Ibrahim Ali Khan. She also shared how she feels when people call her looks 'very ordinary.'
For those who don't know, on the night of January 21, 2022, Ibrahim Ali Khan and Palak Tiwari were spotted by the paps making their way out of a famous food joint in Bandra, Mumbai. To this, Palak shared that this incident had made her feel 'uncomfortable' and she had taken aback. She also said she would take whatever comes her way to survive in showbiz as an actress. In her words:
"I mean this particular aspect is very new to me, so I did take aback. I was like, oh people care that much? It's not like I've not been seen with other people, I have I think it was new to me, and I was a little taken aback and it made me a little uncomfortable, but then I realized that it's part and parcel of what I want to do and if it is then so be it because I really want to do this job man and i'll take whatever comes my way but i will do this job."
Further in the interview, Palak mentioned that people should understand that actors are supposed to represent them on the silver screen. Hence, heroes and heroines do not necessarily need to look flawless and 'perfect' all the time. She stated:
"It doesn't affect me as much as people think it should. Kyuki maine realise karlia hai ki ye log kabhi khush nahi honge (Because I've realised that these people will never be happy). They have made a circle for themselves. They say, 'these celebrities get so dressed up, what are they doing, where are they going?' Theek hai chalo, I'll come out simple. (Then they say) 'She looks like this? Who will give her work? Aisi toh meri dost dikhti hai (my friend looks like this)'."

"Toh dost dikhti hai (If your friend looks like this then) that is the point right? You want someone on screen that represents you. Why is it bad that sometimes we look like you, have flaws, have one eye bigger than the other. Why do you want someone to be impeccable when you are not. We are representing you."
