Pari Bishnoi is an IAS officer, who works as an SDM (Sub Divisional Magistrate) at Sikkim's Gangtok. She has previously served as Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas back in 2022. It was in June 2024 when Pari Bishoi met a popular photographer, Ankit Kumar, while she was roaming around with her sister, Palak, who is a lawyer by profession. The video went viral on Instagram as it's not common to see an IAS Officer roaming in the city like a common person.

Throughout the video, Pari Bishnoi looked quite comfortable in front of the camera as she spoke about her journey. She also revealed her All India Rank and passionately talked about her profession, which simply won everyone's hearts. Many people lauded her in the video's comment section for cracking UPSC and inspiring the youth.

The video simply sky-rocketed on Instagram as it has garnered more than 26 million views in a span of just 11 days. Kangana Ranaut also shared the video as she hailed Pari Bishnoi and advised youngsters to follow these sorts of people on social media so that they can get inspired by their journey. An excerpt from Kangana's long note can be read as:

"All you beautiful young men/women stop calling dumb tiktokias your influencers. Such young women and their lives should influence you they should be your influencers and role models, then only you will be able to live satisfying and successful lives."

IAS Officer, Pari Bishnoi was born on February 26, 1996, in Rajasthan's Kakra Village. Talking about her parents, Pari's father, Maniram Bishnoi is a lawyer by profession, while her mother, Sushila Bishnoi is a police officer in Government Railway Police. For the uninitiated, Pari's grandfather, Gopiram Bishnoi, also served as their village, Kakra's sarpanch, four times. Right from an early age, Pari was extremely focused on her studies. She completed her schooling at Ajmer's prestigious St. Mary's Convent School.

After this, Pari Bishnoi relocated to Delhi to pursue graduation from Delhi University's Indraprastha College for Women. Post completing her graduation from DU, she went to Ajmer's Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, where she pursued her Master's Degree in Political Science. Not only this, Pari also cracked UGC NET and even passed NET-JRF.

IAS Officer, Pari Bishnoi cracked UPSC with flying colours and secured an impressive All India Rank (AIR) 30 in the competitive exam. It isn't a cakewalk to get AIR 30 in India's toughest exam, UPSC, and in order to crack the same, Pari indeed did something different.

According to a report in SheThePeople, Pari adopted a monk-like lifestyle in order to crack the UPSC. From deleting all her social media accounts to not carrying any smartphone and living a disciplined life, Pari deleted all the possible distractions from her life. All the efforts paid off when Pari cracked the UPSC and got AIR 30.

Pari Bishnoi decided to become an IAS Officer because of her mother

In the viral Instagram video of photographer, Ankit Kumar, Pari Bishnoi opened up about the inspiration behind her aspiration to become an IAS Officer. Opening up about the same, she said that while growing up, she saw her mother working at small levels and making a major change in so many people's lives.

Pari further added that her mother, who is in Rajasthan Police, served as an inspiration for her. The doting daughter also lauded her mother as she revealed that the latter was one of the first female officers in Rajasthan's police stations. She said:

"My mother is in Rajasthan police. I have grown up seeing her work. At that small level also, she was able to bring so much change. She was one of the first woman officers in a lot of police stations."

Pari Bishnoi is married to Bhavya Bishnoi, BJP MLA from Hisar's Adampur constituency

Pari Bishnoi and Bhavya Bishnoi got married on December 24, 2023, in a lavish ceremony. While Bhaya opted for a cream-hued bandhgala, Pari looked stunning in an embroidered lehenga. For the uninitiated, Bhavya belongs to a political family, as his late grandfather, Bhajan Lal Bishnoi, was a three-time Chief Minister of Haryana.
