Popular actress, Paridhi Sharma rose to fame with her stint as 'Jodha Bai' in Zee TV's Jodha Akbar and 'Vaishno Devi' in another serial, Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi - Kahani Mata Rani Ki. Apart from this, Paridhi was part of several films and TV serials, including Tere Mere Sapne, Ruk Jaana Nahin, Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum, Patiala Babes, Green, Meethi Eid and others. She was also named among the top 10 television actresses by Rediff in 2014. Now, Paridhi in an interview, revealed that she stepped into acting post her marriage. Interestingly, it was her husband who played a crucial role in her journey.
Coming to her personal life, Paridhi got married to an Ahmedabad-based businessman, Tanmai Saksena in 2009. Afterwards, in 2016, they were blessed with a son. In an interview with the ETimes, Paridhi revealed that she never had a concrete career plan as a teenager. However, she always secretly aspired to become an actress. Thus, it was only after her marriage with Tanmai, that she gave her dreams a shot. Revealing the same, Paridhi shared:
“I had no concrete career plans as a teenager, although a part of me secretly aspired to become an actress. After completing my MBA, I realised that the corporate world was not where I wanted to be. It was after tying the knot when I gave my dreams a shot.”

For the unversed, Paridhi married Tanmai in 2009 and made her TV debut in 2010, with the show, Tere Mere Sapne. Recalling how Tanmai supported her a lot to initiate her journey as an actress and nursed her secret desire into reality, the doting wife mentioned that she is grateful towards her husband. She added:
“The unwavering support from my husband has played a crucial role in helping me take that leap of faith. His constant motivation and belief in my abilities pushed me to try my luck. I owe my journey as an actress to him.”

In the same conversation, Paridhi, who is constantly working on one after the other projects and also has a huge fanbase online, opened up about how she doesn’t let work pressure get to her. She revealed that instead of stressing about her bad days, she embraces both positive and negative things equally. She shared:

“I don’t take stress and just do my best. My focus remains on the journey and the person I am becoming, rather than on my achievements alone. While I experience both good and bad days, embracing life in all its forms and working on self-improvement is what gives me joy.”
