Television actress, Pooja Banerjee is soon going to embrace motherhood. The actress had also quit her show, Kumkum Bhagya to take some time off as her due date is close. From her godh bharai ceremony to her maternity shoot, the gorgeous actress has been sharing glimpses of her pregnancy phase with her fans. Recently, in an interview, Pooja opened up about her pregnancy journey and spoke about the different phases that she has been going through in the last few months.

On March 10, 2022, Pooja Banerjee had taken to her IG handle and had shared a mesmerising picture of herself. The mommy-to-be had looked drop-dead gorgeous in a light blue coloured dress with sequinned work on it. The actress was seen caressing her baby bump, and her pregnancy glow was unmissable! Along with it, Pooja had penned a heart-melting note for her soon-to-be-born baby, and it could be read as:

"I can’t wait to meet you, my Baby, for I already Love You."

In an interview with ETimes, Pooja Banerjee opened up about her pregnancy experiences and talked about how she dealt with them. A woman's body goes through so many changes during pregnancy, and it becomes quite overwhelming for them. Talking about how she managed to accept the changes, Pooja shared:

"It was overwhelming for me but not to an extent where I would feel guilty, embarassed or shy about it. I was in fact looking forward to the everyday changes that my body was going through. I was excited to experience it. There's no particular day that you suddenly accept the physical changes that happen in the body during the pregnancy. The process of accepting it is gradual. And while I am anytime ready to pop the baby, I feel new changes in me everyday. Most of my friends are saying that once I will have a baby, I will miss being pregnant."

Pooja has been maintaining a healthy diet, but she was often spotted eating vada pav on the sets of her show, Kundali Bhagya. The mommy-to-be opened up about her diet in the last few months and shared that she has been trying to eat healthily. Revealing her diet and the secret behind the glow on her face, Pooja shared:

"I wake up at around six thirty in the morning and go on a walk. I follow a healthy diet. Through the day, I make sure that I eat food that's good for my body. But around evening, I need food like pizza, vadapav or sevpuri because I really crave for it. I cannot end my day without eating one unhealthy dish!  At first, there wasn't much that I understood about pregnancy and I was just going with the flow. But later, I started embracing my body and that actually started showing on my face which probably is the glow. So I feel that if one is comfortable with oneself, you will definitely glow."

Pooja also shared that she has been practising hypnobirthing with her hubby, Sandeep Sejwal, and mentioned that it has helped her bust some myths about pregnancy. The mommy-to-be added that she understands her body and pregnancy phase better now. She said:

"I have been practising hypnobirthing along with my husband, Sandeep Sejwal. These classes really help me a lot. It helps me understand what's happening with my body and why it is happening. I understand my body and this pregnancy phase much better now. Whatever myths there are about pregnancy, I have got them cleared. We all are little nervous about giving birth and working during these times. These classes helped me to be more confident to work during pregnancy and at the same time, take care of myself."

Pooja also recalled some of the funny moments of her pregnancy journey and shared that she feels like a baby penguin. Sharing an anecdote from her pregnancy phase, Pooja added:

"These are many. I feel like a baby penguin at times because I need help to stand up or sit down. The funniest part is when there's no one at home and a bell rings, I take very long to get up from my bed and reach the door. The person at the door has to wait so long, that sometimes it really gets fun for me to see."

Further in the interview, Pooja Banerjee was asked what kind of mom she will be. Talking about the same, the actress revealed that she is a very organised person and loves to plan everything beforehand. She added that throughout her pregnancy she has experienced a change in herself as she has become a chilled person. She explained:

"I don't know but I am a very organised person. I plan out everything - my schedule, finances, what I will be cooking and what I need to focus on. So I am someone who likes to plan things out. But because of my pregnancy, I am seeing a different side to my husband , where he is very particular about everything. I am more chilled out now. Throughout my pregnancy, I have been relaxed, so I feel that I will be a chill mom."
