However, PR Sreejesh's wife's name was inked on his hockey, which didn't go in vain, as he saved crucial shots as the team played to secure a bronze medal. After the match, all the payers bowed before PR Sreejesh and he led them back to the dressing room as a tribute to his legacy.
When several celebrities congratulated Sreejesh on his wish, a special message came from his wife, Aneeshya, who is incredibly proud of her husband's win. An Ayurvedic doctor, Aneeshya, shared that it was a dream come true for her and their family. She was quoted as saying:

In a previous conversation with Hockey Te Charcha, Aneeshya Sreejesh revealed that she and PR Sreejesh used to be classmates and have known each other for 22 years now. She added that she used to be an athlete and had closely witnessed the struggle and inspiring journey. Aneeshya said that she finds it challenging to spend time away from him. But she was responsible for caring for the kids and being home while her husband goes out to play. The couple has two children, a daughter, Anusree, born in 2014, and a son, Sreeansh, born in 2017.
