Who Is Prasanna Sankar? Rippling Co-Founder Did Internship At Google, Position In Microsoft And More

Prasanna Sankar is a tech entrepreneur who has lately accused his estranged wife, Dhivya Sashidhar, of infidelity and of abducting their 9-year-old son. He has accused the Chennai police of harassment based on the fake cases that his wife filed against him. Prasanna had shared a series of tweets where he claimed his wife had an affair and made her texts with her alleged boyfriend viral as they sailed through a divorce. Sankar also accused his wife had filed fake rape, domestic violence kidnapping cases against him and also violated the orders of the US court.

Who is Prasanna Sankar? Tech entrepreneur of a 10 billion dollar company

Prasanna is reportedly the owner of Rippling, a workforce management platform. It combines IT, finance, HR, and other important companies in one domain and offers varied solutions to manage employee-related data and operations. Sankar founded the company back in 2016 with Parker Conrad. In a video on X, Prasanna shared that he was born and raised in Chennai and confessed to being a tech entrepreneur and having a company worth 10 billion. Prasanna Sankaranarayanan is Sankar's full name, as presented by a court order from the United States District Court in Washington. He has been in the middle of a custody battle with his wife, Dhivya.

Prasanna Sankar did an internship at Google

Prasanna's LinkedIn profile states that he has been an angel investor and the owner of a Singapore-based social network for crypto narratives that he started in 2023. The Indian-based entrepreneur completed his studies in Computer Science at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy), and graduated with a B.Tech degree. He shared meeting with Dhivya at NIT Trichy. Prasanna has also worked with huge tech giants like Microsoft, where he was a Software Developer. This was back in 2000-09, and he was also an intern at Google back in 2006. He worked there for less than a year. He had shared on his social media handle. His post read:

"I used to do a lot of programming contests: I was ranked #1 in India at TopCoder while at college. 2x Google Code Jam world finalist. 2x ACM ICPC world finalist.”

Prasanna, before becoming the co-founder of Rippling, got a lot of experience in tech giants like Google and Microsoft Canada. His LinkedIn profile stated that it has been since January 2023 that he has been a founder of OxPPL and shared that he has been doing a lot of programming contests. He was also ranked 1 in India at TopCoder while at college. He was also the world finalist of 2x Google Code Jam and  2x ACM ICPC world finalist. 

It is interesting to note that people in Rippling became more curious after Prasanna made the huge allegation about his life. According to a Hindustan Times report, searches on Rippling started on March 23, 2025, and reached their peak on March 24, 2025, at 2 a.m. The maximum searches came from Karnataka, Goa, and Telangana.
