Bollywood actress, Preity Zinta celebrated Karwa Chauth with her husband, Gene Goodenough, at her Los Angeles home. Being an avid social media user, she shared some beautiful snippets of her happy married life on her IG handle. Keeping up with it, Preity dropped a series of pictures from her first Karwa Chauth celebration as a mommy, and it is simply unmissable.
Preity Zinta is a loving mommy, who never misses to dote on her babies, Jai and Gia, and share their adorable moments on her IG handle. For the unversed, it was on November 18, 2021, when Preity and her hubby, Gene Goodenough, were blessed with twins, Jai and Gia, via surrogacy. Since then, Preity has been fulfilling her mommy duties with the utmost love and care.

A few moments back, Preity Zinta took to her IG handle and shared a series of pictures from her Karwa Chauth celebration with her hubby, Gene Goodenough. For the celebration, the actress donned a yellow-hued minimalistic lehenga which she styled with a handwoven phulkari dupatta. Accentuating her look with gold jewellery with dropping beads, Preity looked gorgeous. On the other hand, Gene complemented her in an orange kurta-pyjama. Alongside the pictures, she penned:
"This Karva Chauth was filled with so many firsts. My first Karva Chauth as a mommy, first time I didn’t drink water all day, first time the moon took forever to show up & I had to use an app to see it & my first beautiful Phulkari dupatta that took more than 3 months to be made. Today I believe more than ever that we can only grow stronger together as a couple & as individuals when we have mutual respect for each other & our respective traditions. Here’s to east meeting west and being happy together. Love n light to all of you beautiful people & couples."

Preity also shared a beautiful video and revealed that she got her phulkari dupatta handcrafted by the designer duo, Saurabh and Rajeshwari. The actress lauded the Punjabi women for keeping the tradition of hand-woven phulkari dupattas alive and thanked them for making her Karwa Chauth special. Revealing that she would cherish the dupatta forever and save it for her daughter, Gia, Preity penned:
"Thank you Saurab & Rajeshwari for making my Karva Chauth extra special. I will cherish this forever and save it for Gia. I’m so proud of all those talented women that work so hard to keep our traditions alive and adorn us with beautiful fabrics and blessings woven together. A big shout out to all the beautiful women of Punjab and women all over the world. #Phulkari."

Meanwhile, Preity Zinta is currently enjoying her life to the fullest with her hubby, Gene Goodenough, and their twins, Gia and Jai. On September 8, 2022, Preity had taken to her IG handle and shared a super cute video of her babies enjoying their first rain together. In the video, Jai and Gia could be seen sitting on their respective chairs on a balcony, facing the open sky. The little munchkins did a little rain dance while playing with their toys. Alongside the video, the doting mommy had penned:
