Pritish Nandy, who was a famous poet, writer, journalist and filmmaker, has left for the heavenly abode. His closest friend, Anupam Kher, penned a heart-wrenching note while informing him about his death. Pritish Nandy is known for his work, and his sudden demise has left the entire nation in shock.
On January 8, 2024, Anupam Kher took to his Instagram handle and posted a long note on the demise of his best friend, Pritish Nandy. Recalling his tremendous work, Anupam mentioned he was a unique editor and journalist. He called Pritish is his source of strength during the initial days in Mumbai. Anupam Kher's note can be read as:
"Deeply deeply saddened and shocked to know about the demise of one of my dearest and closest friends #PritishNandy! Amazing poet, writer, filmmaker and a brave and unique editor/journalist! He was my support system and a great source of strength in my initial days in Mumbai."
Anupam further wrote how they had a lot of common things, and how he learnt a lot of things from Pritish. The actor also expressed his disappointment in not meeting his best friend. He even recalled the time when they were inseparable. Anupam Kher concluded his note by writing:
"We shared lots of things in common. He was also one of the most fearless people I had come across. Always Larger than life. I learnt so many things from him. Off-late we didn’t meet much. But there was a time when we were inseparable! I will never forget when he surprised me by putting me on the cover of Filmfare and more importantly. He was the true definition of yaaro ka yaar! I will miss you and our times together my friend. Rest well."
However, to everyone's surprise, Neena Gupta penned a shocking comment. She accused Pritish Nandy of stealing her daughter, Masaba Gupta's birth certificate and publishing it. Not only this, but Neena Gupta said, 'No, RIP' straight away. She wrote:
"Do you know, what he did to me, and I called him a bastard openly. He stole my baby's birth certificate and published it. So no RIP, you understand, and I have a proof of it."
Earlier in the past, Neena Gupta asked people on Twitter not to wish birthdays to Pritish Nandy. Neena stated that she had done horrible things to her. Let us inform you, in a media interview as well, Neena also claimed that a journalist had stolen her baby's birth certificate to find out the identity of her father. She had tweeted:
