Priyanka Chopra Liked A Post Critiquing Taylor Swift For Not Acknowledging Celine Dion At Grammys

Bollywood actress, Priyanka Chopra is now a global force to be reckoned with after she shifted base to the States and predominantly features in their dramas and content. The diva proudly represents India on the international platform and is immensely loved by the masses. On the personal front, Priyanka is married to the love of her life, Nick Jonas, and the couple is proud parents to their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. 

Taylor Swift is another musical prodigy who has garnered immense fame and appreciation for her music and personality over the years. The singer just received the Album Of The Year Grammy, along with winning in several other categories. However, the singer was recently called out for her behaviour at the Grammys, and it seems like even Priyanka Chopra is also miffed with the pop icon.

Taylor Swift is accused of ignoring legendary singer, Celine Dion at the Grammys  

Celine Dion is a legendary Canadian singer who, in December 2022, announced that she is suffering from stiff-person syndrome and has ever since avoided public appearances. The singer made a surprise entry at the Grammys and even presented the Best Album Award to Taylor Swift. After winning the awards, Taylor hugged everyone on the stage apart from Celine and then moved forward to give her winning speech. This did not sit well with netizens, who then started calling out Taylor for not acknowledging Celine, who presented her with the award.

A Redditor posted the same on the discussion platform and called out Swift for avoiding Celine Dion and also called her cringe for doing the same. Indian actress, Priyanka Chopra liked the post, which caused a stir among audiences. While some assumed that this was a personal attack on Taylor Swift for siding with Sophie Turner amid her divorce battle with Joe Jonas, others highlighted that Priyanka has worked with Celine and is close to her, hence the reaction.

Netizens were not really miffed with Priyanka and were seen understanding her stance as they, too, felt that Taylor Swift ignored Celine Dion on stage. Later, Taylor faced severe backlash from the public, after which she uploaded a picture with Celine and her son, which people labelled as a ‘damage control’ move.
