Atul Subhash's suicide case has left everyone worried about men's struggles in society. The case also gave rise to hashtags like MenToo and MensLivesMatter. Just within a few days, yet again, something similar happened as the owner of For God’s Cake bakery, Puneet Khurana, took the drastic step of committing suicide, allegedly after being harassed by his wife, Manika Pahwa, and his in-laws. Amid this going on, viral videos of Puneet, along with his wife and in-laws, went viral.

Puneet Khurana and Manika Pahwa's heated argument goes viral

For the unversed, Puneet Khurana and Manika Pahwa got married in 2016 and started Woodbox Cafe together. As per the reports, the duo's marriage was going on for one year, but after the same, the situation worsened. After Puneet committed suicide, his family alleged that it was Manika who continuously harassed him. As per reports, the bakery owner had recorded a 59-minute-long video to explain how his in-laws and wife had tortured him.

Well, amid this going on, a video of Puneet went viral. In the CCTV footage, which captured the heated chat between Puneet and Manika, the couple was seen sitting face-to-face in the cafe. In the video, Manika was seen harshly speaking to Puneet and claimed that her life was ruined. Not only this, but she also threatened that she would go to his locality and create a scene. She further told her husband that she had the numbers and addresses of his relatives, and she would start to reveal what had been happening. Puneet replied by saying, 'Any day'.

Puneet Khurana's father-in-law discusses transferring Rs. 2 crore 

Yet another video of Puneet Khurana has been going viral, wherein the bakery owner was seen conversing with his father-in-law, Jagdish Pahwa. The video was reportedly from October 2023, when Jagdish talked to Puneet about transferring Rs. 2 crore in exchange for a house. As per Puneet's family, Jagdish later failed to keep his word.

Puneet Khurana's fight with his wife, Manika, the night before he committed suicide

Police had revealed that Puneet Khurana last talked to his wife, Manika, before committing suicide. As per the 15-minute call recording, the couple was seen fighting over their bakery, For God's Cake. While Puneet was heard asking Manika about what she wanted, the latter kept on using some harsh words. She was heard asking Puneet if he would remove her from business while the divorce proceedings went on. She also told Puneet that she would commit suicide if he anyway threatened her. She reportedly can be heard saying:

"Beggar, tell me what have you asked for. I do not want to see your face. If you come in front of me, I will slap you. If the divorce is going on, will you remove me from the business? Then you will say, if you threaten me, I will commit suicide."

Manika Pahwa shared a cryptic post on toxicity before Puneet committed suicide

Days before Puneet committed suicide, his estranged wife, Manika dropped an IG post about ‘toxicity and narcissistic abuse’. Reportedly, the post has been removed from her social media handle. As per reports, the couple filed for a mutual divorce, and later, Manika changed her mind and asked for Rs. 70K for monthly maintenance, along with her lawyer's fee.
