Indian shuttler PV Sindhu, married Hyderabad-based Executive Director at Posidex Technologies, Venkata Datta Sai, on December 22, 2024, in Udaipur. 5 days after her marriage, on December 27, 2024, Sindhu was seen with her husband offering prayers to Lord Venkateshwara at Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple in Andhra Pradesh.
Sindhu is one of the top and most successful Indian shuttlers who won a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics and Tokyo Games 2020. The Indian shuttler and her husband, Venkatta Datta were seen in the wee hours of morning offering prayers at Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala. It looked like it was raining as the newly married pair was accompanied by a person who was holding a umbrella for the couple. Sindhu stunned in a rich maroon-orange-hued saree, while Venkatta Datta wore a red-hued kurta. Sindhu also wore a heavy golden necklace, earrings, bangles, and a ring. She opted to go for a simple look as she and her husband sought the blessings of the almighty.

The couple had an intimate wedding in Udaipur, which their close friends and family attended. The shuttler has started a new chapter in her life after making India proud globally. For her wedding, Sindhu wore a cream-hued saree in which she oozed grace and charm. Sai, on the other hand, complemented Sindhu's personality in a cream-hued sherwani that he teamed with a hand-made shawl.
Sindhu opted for traditional earrings, maang teeka for her wedding while Sai had done a man bun for his special day.
Venkatta Datta is an entrepreneur based in Hyderabad and the Executive Director of Posidex Technologies. Despite being successful professionally, he has always maintained a low-key lifestyle. He came into the limelight after his marriage to Sindhu was announced. He is known for his reserved nature and for his business techniques.

PV Sindhu and Venkatta Datta held their wedding reception at Hyderabad on December 24, 2024. Celebrities like Mrunal Thakur, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna and Ajith Kumar were seen at the occasion. Sindhu, for her reception, stunned in an ivory lehenga from the shelves of Falguni Shane Peacock. It was designed out of tulle fabric and decorated with Swarovski crystals and an array of sequins and embellishments. Sindhu completed her look with a same-hued full-sleeved blouse with a V-neckline.
Sindhu looked graceful as she completed her reception look with green emeralds, rings and earrings. For the makeup, she kept it simple with shimmery eyeshadow nude lips and mascara-coupled lashes. She did soft curls and kept her long tresses on one side.
A report by Vogue India revealed that PV Sindhu first met Venkatta Datta Sai on a flight back in October 2022. Things changed when they reconnected on a flight. In her words:
"That journey brought us closer, and it felt like the stars aligned. It was almost like love at first sight, and from that moment on, everything just felt right."
