PV Sindhu is undoubtedly one of the most empowering women in India, thanks to the historic feat of winning two consecutive medals for the nation at the Olympic Games. The talented athlete hails from Hyderabad, the city of royals. Now, Sindhu is all set to level up her game and step into a new phase of her life. Yes, you read it right. PV Sindhu is gearing up for her wedding, and her fans can't be any happier for the diva.
Double Olympic medallist, PV Sindhu is gearing up for her grand wedding later this month. It has been reported that Sindhu, widely rated as one of the greatest Indian badminton players of all time, is all set to tie the knot with senior IT professional and executive, Venkata Datta Sai in Udaipur on December 22, 2024. Talking to PTI, Sindhu's father revealed that the families had known each other for a long time, but it was just a month ago that her wedding was finalised. He further added:
"The two families knew each other but it was only a month ago that everything was finalised. This was the only possible window as her schedule will be hectic from January."
PV Sindhu's father added that the families decided to hold the wedding in December itself, as the Badminton champion is going to have a very hectic 2025 session, which will start in January. Once the session starts, Sindhu will have no time to engage in her personal agendas, and will be focused on her professional life.
Venkata Datta Sai, an executive director at Posidex Technologies. He is the man who has won Sindhu's heart and will soon be marrying her. His academic journey is as impressive as his professional career. Sai, the son of GT Venkateshwar Rao, is the managing director at Posidex Technologies and a former Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer. He pursued his Diploma in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from the Foundation of Liberal and Management Education. He then completed his BBA in Accounting and Finance from Flame University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2018. He furthered his education with a Master's degree in Data Science and Machine Learning from the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore.
According to Vankata's LinkedIn profile, he has worked with JSW and then served as a managing director of Sour Apple Asset Management before starting out at Posidex in December 2019. At Posidex, he plays a crucial role in solving complex problems using a proprietary entity resolution search engine. His solutions and products are deployed for critical operations at some of the biggest banks from HDFC to ICICI. Rest assured, most of you would have used one of my creations unwittingly at least once in your lifetime," he says in his bio on the networking website.
