One of the most popular actor, who has zero haters and is widely loved by his fans, is none other than R Madhavan. While some people adore his acting prowess, others are enthralled by his parenting philosophy, and many people respect him for his unpretentious demeanour in real life. The actor gifted his fans with so many memorable movies, one of them being, Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, which was his debut film. His pair with Kangana Ranaut in the movies, Tanu Weds Manu and Tanu Weds Manu Returns, are also praiseworthy. However, recently, the actor talked about the strong women in his life and mentioned actress, Kangana being one of them.
In an interview with Rohan Dua, the Tanu Weds Manu actor said that the ladies who are leading all his films are really very strong. R Madhavan said that he thinks himself to be of good fortune as he had the chance to grow up with his mother, who worked for 30 years in a bank in Bihar, which is quite the example of a strong woman. The actor again stated that women are stronger species, and he is quite sure that even if we talk to our grandfathers, then we can see that they are relying more on our grandmothers than vice versa in today's time. The actor stated:

"If you look at all the leading ladies of all my films, they are very very strong. I had a good fortune of growing up with some really strong women in my house itself. My mother was the manager of a bank in Bihar for 30 years. So you see how strong women are. I think they are the stronger species. They last much longer. If you look at your grandparents, I can promise you that today your grandfather would be actually relying more on your grandmother than vice versa. That's a universal truth that all men have to reconcile with.”

In the same interview, R Madhavan praised his co-star, Kangana Ranaut from the film Tanu Weds Manu. The actor said he takes it as a good fortune to work with such a strong lady as Kangana. He stated that these strong women are not cliche heroines, not pushovers, and definitely not the ones who come and dance in movies and get slapped by men. He said he would never do such movies, and it is foolish of them who indulge themselves in such movies. The actor stated:
"Working with the likes of Kangana or Shalini or all the strong women that I had the good fortune to work with, they were all women with opinion. They are not pushovers. They are not the cliché heroines, who come in and dance in a couple of movies and get slapped by the man and walk away. These are not the kind of films I have ever done or want to do in my life. People who indulge in those kind of stories are really foolish in today's world."
Further, in the interview, R Madhavan praised Kangana for bringing strength to the screen due to her personal achievements and experience. He said Kangana is an extraordinary actor who brings so much to the roles that she does. R Madhavan also shared that he is in awe of all the work that his Tanu Weds Manu co-star, Kangaga is doing. The actor said:
"But to recognise the strength that they bring on to the screen because of their personal achievements as well as their experience and their ability to act is very important. I am giving Kangana the due credit for it, it is extremely smart and important for all of us. She is really an extraordinary actor who brings so much to the roles that she does. And look at what she is doing today across all genres of films, I am quite in awe."
