Raaz Pichhle Janam Ka gained a lot of criticism

The show had two seasons, and they were hosted by Ravi Kishan. While it gained a lot of TRPs, many criticised the show, and it was called unscientific by the medical community. In fact, many critics raised doubts about the process of going through past life on the show and claim that it is different from the usual past-life regression therapy. Later, in 2010, an NGO named Bharat Jan Vigyan Jathan got a court notice to the show for spreading superstition on national television.

What is past life regression therapy?

For those who don't know, past life regression is a form of hypnotherapy, wherein an individual is made to recall the memories from their past lives. It is a gentle way of dealing with the issue a person is going through in the current lifetime. Hinduism and many other religions believe in the concept of reincarnation. Hence, it is stated that whatever issue a person is facing in their lives, can be solved with the past life session.
