Weddings in India are more than just a fairytale affair. It is the most hyped occasion that is celebrated as the biggest festival and the entire family gets together to make it even more special. Whenever we hear wedding bells, our eyes are set on the Tinseltown. And the recent one to join the 'married couples' club is Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor's favourite cousin, Armaan Jain. For those who don't know, Armaan is the son of Karisma and Kareena's bua, Rima Jain and her husband, Manoj Jain. But the sibling trio share a close bond with each other. On February 3, 2020, Armaan's dream of tying the knot with his ladylove, Anissa came true. For the shaadi day, Anissa opted for a traditional red lehenga with golden embroidery all over it. She accessorised her look with double-layered neckpiece, a maang teeka, and matching earrings. Her look was completed with dewy pink makeup and smokey eyes. On the other hand, Armaan looked handsome in a cream-coloured sherwani with a golden turban.
For the wedding, we spotted Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani's rumoured daughter-in-law, Radhika Merchant's pictures trending on the internet. She opted for a cream-coloured floral lehenga which she teamed with emerald layered neckpiece and matching earrings. She kept her look subtle with highlighted cheeks, nude-toned makeup and hair tied in a pony.

Just like the grand wedding, Armaan's baraat also gave us major goals. In the pictures that have been trending on the internet, we can see Kareena and Karisma dancing their heart out with their bhai's, Armaan.
Armaan and Anissa's love story is not less than a fairytale. We got the happy news of their union on July 31, 2019, when Armaan had shared the pictures of the big proposal on his Instagram handle. Alongside it, he had written, "The moment I eagerly waited for 7 years finally arrived, the most nervous moment in my life. The butterflies in my belly all seem a hype when I think of my first school exam or my first shot in front of the camera. You walked in and every sensation went numb. Everything I rehearsed in my mind was out in a jiffy. I finally realised what my yoga teacher said when he meant to go blank and be in the moment. As I walked you, my most beautiful @anissamalhotra down the aisle and finally onto my knees, my heart was pounding, my mouth was dry, everything was hazy and I felt an unexplainable emotion like I did when I first met you, We’ve come along way Jaan, fought all the odds (come rain come storm) like yesterday as well. Thank you for being my backbone and pillar of strength and sticking with me through thick and thin."

His post could be further read as "YOU are the woman of my dreams and I am the luckiest man! None of this was possible without our most generous parents, our most adorable cupid @aadarjain who metaphorically introduced US once again and all our extended family, i.e. our friends who were a part of yesterday and more importantly an integral part of our most beautiful journey in the last 7 years. My Armaan was to be with my Anissa forever and you said YES, I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you. Love you."
In an interview with the Hello! India magazine, Armaan had talked about the dream proposal he had planned for Anissa. He had shared, "I promise you everything was a blur. I was a nervous wreck. My heart didn’t palpitate as hard even when I gave my first shot for celluloid." Armaan had further revealed that it was his mom, who had helped him choose the ring. He had stated that initially, he had kept asking her and her friends about her choice of diamond, but by the end of it, it was just getting more confusing. So, eventually, he went to his mom and she helped him." (Don't Miss: Saif Ali Khan Justifies His Comment On liking His Movie 'Love Aaj Kal' Trailer More Than Sara's)
