Radhika Merchant Flaunts 'Peer Bindi' On Her Forehead Just Like Ambani Women Did On Their Weddings

Anant Ambani's bride-to-be, Radhika Merchant, is making her massive fanbase go in awe of each of her looks every now and then. Right from giving princess vibes in ball gowns during her cruise pre-wedding bash to donning renowned labels from around the world, the gorgeous to-be-Ambani bahu is simply giving fashion goals. Although Radhika can be seen sporting stunning Western looks with complete ease, she also loves to flaunt Indian wears on various occasions. Moreover, Nita Ambani's doting to-be-bahu can be seen following in her footsteps while being connected with her roots.

Radhika Merchant flaunted a traditional Gujarati Peer bindi on her forehead

For the recent Griha shanti puja at her home, Radhika Merchant turned into a traditional bride-to-be. Keeping her look simple and cool, she was seen wearing a white saree with golden border teamed with a pink blouse. Moreover, a Maharashtrian nath, a broad necklace, a matching pair of earrings, and a maang teeka completed her look. She opted for a soft base makeup with thin strokes of eyeliner, nude lipstick and kept her tresses open. However, she was seen flaunting a traditional Gujarati-style Peer bindi on her forehead.

Nita Ambani, Tina Ambani and Isha Ambani flaunted Peer bindi on their respective wedding

For the unversed, the traditional Gujarati Peer bindi symbolises Goddess Parvati, who brings fortune. It mainly consists of red and white colour dots or stones applied above the eyebrows. The red colour stands for love and matrimony, whereas the white colour represents peace and tranquillity. It can be made in various shapes, however, keeping the meaning the same. The same bindi was worn by Nita Ambani, Tina Ambani and Isha Ambani earlier on their respective wedding.

The exact centre one is generally red in colour, followed by the next ones in white, and gradually, the same pattern is kept. While Nita Ambani's bindi featured square floral patterns, her doting daughter, Isha Ambani, opted for simple stone ones just like Radhika. On the other hand, Isha's chachi, Tina Ambani, during her wedding with Anil Ambani, opted for white flower patterns with a red dot in centre in each one of them.

Radhika Merchant once wore a similar kind of Bharatnatyam costume like Nita Ambani

In June 2022, the Ambanis hosted an Arangetram ceremony for Radhika Merchant at The Grand Theater, Jio World Center. It marked the debut performance of Nita's to-be-bahu, Radhika and proved how both of them are ardent dance lovers. Soon after the ceremony, several pictures of the duo surfaced on social media. In one of them, Radhika aced a dance step and looked gorgeous in an orange and pink-hued ensemble with exquisite jewellery.

At the same time, another picture of Nita was refurbished on social media, wherein she also did a dance pose while being clicked. In the photo, Nita complemented her look with prisitne jewellery and looked regal. However, keeping both the images side by side, we found Radhika to be a spitting image of her future mother-in-law.
