"Aaj ki tarikh mein paisa sab kuch hai. Let's be honest, agar apke pass paisa hai toh aap apni tabiyat bhi afford kar sakte hai agar apke pass paisa nhi hai toh aap ilaj tak afford nhi kar sakte. Toh agar aapki tabiyat tak aapke sath nhi hai jab paisa nhi hai, toh rishtedaro se, dosto se kya umeed rakhna. Paisa sabkuch hai aaj ki tarikh mein. Aap kuch bhi kar lijiye apko paisa chahiye. Aur ye mere jindegi ki haqiat hai jo maine observe kiya."

Further, in the same conversation, Ragini opened up about her personal experiences, saying that her relatives and family did not value her, when she had no money. Thus, the actress shared that it was then that she got the addiction of earning money and thought of working non-stop until she could. She added:
"Apke paas paisa hai toh apke pass parivar hai, apke pass paisa hai toh apke pass bachche, maa baap sab hai, paisa hai toh padhai hai, paisa hai toh khana hai, paisa hai toh parivar hai, paisa hai toh sab kuch hai. Nhi toh apki do kauri ki izzat nhi hai. Paisa kamane ka junoon chadh gaya. When reality hits you so hard ki apke parivar wale bhi apke sath nhi hai agar apke pass paisa nhi hai toh. Its very sad, I don't know how and why, insaan ke paas paisa hona bahut jaroori hai. Aap khub paise kamao phir jo jindegi jeeni hai jeeyo."
For the unversed, Ragini is also the niece of superstar, Govinda. During the same interview, Ragini candidly spoke about whether being related to the actor helped her in the industry. She denied the same and subtly mentioned that the relationship helped her in no way, maybe because she is not Govinda's daughter. Further, sharing that she has a good bond with Govinda’s children, including Tina Ahuja and Yashvardan Ahuja, the actress added:
“It is not. He is a very, very big star. Firstly I am not his daughter. I love Namu (Tina Ahuja), I love Yash (Yashvardan Ahuja), I love them too much. We are pals but jab aap kaam pe jaate ho to aap waise nahi dekhe jaate ho. Agar Namu, Yash ko aap bol do ki television pe jao, wo nahi jayenge but ek Ragini jayegi."
