Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar, superstars of the television industry, shared a romantic journey on Big Boss 14 before tying the knot in July 2021. A few days ago, the Big Boss 14 runner-up announced through his social media handle that he is suffering from Dengue. On September 9, 2024, his wife also got diagnosed with the same, which he shared on his Instagram account. Due to Dengue, Rahul also had to miss the Ganpati celebrations, and now his wife, Disha, has expressed the pain she is going through by posting an Instagram story.
Rahul Vaidya, also known for his singing, took to his Instagram story on September 9, 2024, to share that his wife and actress, Disha Parmar, had also come in contact with Dengue. He expressed his irritation on the same through a note which said, “Wasn’t it enough for me to have Dengue ki Disha ko bhi ho gaya.” Later, the Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 actress reshared Rahul’s story and expressed her amusement at the irony with a sweet note that said, “Together forever.”

As fans wished them a speedy recovery, the couple posted separate stories mentioning the pain they were going through while being sick. While Rahul mentioned he had a 104-degree fever in a story, Disha also shared that she has a 103-degree fever and prayed that no one should go through the same. She wrote in her story:
“I really hope no one has to go through Dengue. Excruciating pain, 103 fever at all times. Worst Worst Ever.”
Disha Parmar is an Indian television actress who raised to fame with soap operas like Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, Woh Apna Sa, and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2. Meanwhile, Rahul Vaidya is a singer and music composer who also appeared on the first season of Indian Idol. Apart from working on his songs, he hosted the show, Jjhoom India. He also participated in the reality TV show, Big Boss 14, alongside his wife, Disha.
Although everyone witnessed Rahul and Disha’s lovey-dovey journey on Big Boss 14, the couple started dating before the show. They got married in 2021 and became parents to a daughter in 2023 during the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Currently, Rahul is a contestant on Bharti Singh’s show, Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment.
