Ganapati bappa moriya! Mangal murti moriya! Sidhhivinayak moriya! Gannu ji is back this year with lots of blessings and modaks. The most awaited festivals of the nation (specially Maharashtra) is here. Yes, we are talking about Ganesh Chaturthi. The birth of Ganesh ji will be celebrated from September 2, 2019, to September 12, 2019. It begins with welcoming the idols of Ganesha into the homes and after 11 days of festivities, it ends with emerging Lord Ganesha's idol into the holy water on the day of Ganesh visarjan.
Just like everybody, our B-town celebs also welcome Gannu ji with full devotion. Bollywood celebrities have bombarded the internet with pictures of the celebrations. From Arpita Khan Sharma to Soha Ali Khan, the celebration pictures are all over the internet. Just like them, our very own Churake Dil Mera actress, Shilpa Shetty Kundra also welcomed Ganesha yesterday. Shilpa and Raj welcomed an eco-friendly Ganesha this year along with their son, Viaan Raj Kundra. On September 2, 2019, Shilpa Shetty Kundra had shared pictures from their celebrations. On September 3, 2019, Raj Kundra took to his Instagram handle and shared a Boomerang with his wife, Shilpa Shetty Kundra. What caught our attention was the lovely caption that Raj has written for his lovely 'Radha'. He wrote, “One of those rare moments when she is dancing to my tune. Yesterday, Shilpa had shared pictures from their Ganesh puja and we couldn’t miss the twinning game which was on point. The Kundra clan was all decked up in yellow, they were seen wearing matching yellow colour outfits. Shilpa had looked ravishing in her yellow saree and traditional Maharashtrian nath while Raj and Viaan had complimented her in matching yellow kurta. The family looked blended in the spirit of festivities. She had captioned the image, "And... My GANNU RAJA is back. Our 10th year! The remover of obstacles and the Lord of success.. Shilpa Shetty Kundra, who is known to celebrate all the festivals with full dedication and devotion was spotted gearing up for Ganesh Chaturthi a day before. On September 1, 2019, she was spotted shopping for her perfect Ganpati idol in Mumbai. She was seen wearing a casual blue and white kurta and post selecting her Ganpati idol, she had happily posed for the shutterbugs. Bollywood is emerged in the spirit of festivities, just like Shilpa Shetty Kundra, other B-town celebs also welcomed Gannu ji into their homes. Many celebs had taken to their social media handles to wish fans on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Anil Kapoor had taken to his Twitter account to wish his fans. He had twitted, “Shree Vakratunda mahakaya Suryakoti Samaprabha Nirvighnam Kuru Me Deva Sarva-Kaaryeshu Sarvada May Lord Ganesha bless you with all the health, happiness & success. Sonali Bendra who was celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi after a year, had shared pictures with the Ganpati idol at her home and had written an emotional note and the same could be read as, “Ganesh Chaturthi is one of my favourite festivals and I really missed celebrating it at home last year... Was part of the Aarti via FaceTime! I'm so glad to be back this year, healthier and stronger, celebrating with my family. I truly believe if there’s faith, it reflects more on the inside...in the dialogue between you and your God... so don't lose that essence.
