Rajeev Nigam has finally opened up on his deceased son's illness and how he had suffered all those years. In a conversation with the Mid Day, Rajeev Nigam revealed who had come forward in his low times and had offered financial help. As per the reports in Mid Day, the actor's son was not keeping well since 2018, and he had slipped into a coma. Scroll down to know more!

Rajeev Nigam revealed that he was going through a financial crisis for the past two and a half years while his son was undergoing treatment. He also talked about receiving help from actor and host, Maniesh Paul in his low times. He said, "I've been facing a financial crisis for the past two and a half years, while on one hand, I was unable to work, on the other hand, my son was undergoing his treatment. To be honest, it was disappointing to see that in these testing times, no one from the fraternity helped me except Maniesh Paul. Maniesh helped me a lot, not just financially but also mentally he has been a strong support." The actor's son Devraj had passed away on his birthday itself.
It was on November 8, 2020, that Har Shaakh Pe Ullu Baithaa Hai fame, Rajeev Nigam had shared the news of his son's demise. Posting a beautiful picture with his young son, Devraj Nigam, the mourning father, Rajeev Nigam had penned a heart-wrenching note. It could be read as "What a surprise birthday gift... mera beta devraj aaj mujhe chod ke chala gaya.. bina birthday cake kaate... pagle aisa gift koi deta hai...." According to the reports in media, a journalist had, some time ago spilt some details about Rajeev's son's death and had stated that the young boy was in a coma. The journalist had written, "Rajeev's life took a drastic turn after his son went into a coma. He completed the shoot of Har Shaakh Pe Ullu Baithaa Hai with difficulty during those days. He even decided to put his successful career on the back burner, and focus on his family and hence, he returned to his hometown to take care of his son."
