Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa's personal lives became public when the couple openly discussed their marital problems on social media and in various interviews. However, after their divorce in June 2023, the duo opted for a relatively peaceful and amicable path to move forward for the sake of their daughter, Ziana. Recently, Rajeev yet again showed us glimpses of their complex relationship.
On August 9, 2024, Rajeev shared pictures from his mother's 73rd birthday celebration on his Instagram. In the photographs, we saw that the doting son held two lavish birthday celebrations for his mom, one with his ex-wife, Charu Asopa and daughter, Ziana. And another one with their extended family and friends.

Ranjeev set up a floral arrangement for his mom, with beautiful flowers adorning the number 73, denoting his mother's age. Charu and Rajeev posed with the latter's mother, and even Ziana was seen in a few snaps. For the day, Charu looked pretty in a pink-hued noodle-strap dress.
This wasn't all for the birthday celebration; later in the evening, the entire family, including Sushmita Sen and her boyfriend, Rohman Shwal, was also present at the dinner. Sushmita Sen's two daughters were also a part of the celebration, and their close friends and family joined. However, Charu was not seen at the night event.

Previously, during one of her vlogs on her YouTube channel, Charu Asopa took a stand for herself and gave a befitting reply to nay-sayers, who unfairly judged her for taking her daughter, Ziana to meet the latter’s father, Rajeev Sen in Dubai. She slammed comments about making fun of divorce and instead asked people if it wasn’t correct for her to ensure that her daughter spends a fair amount of time with her father as well. At the end, Charu highlighted that all she wants is Ziana to have a normal and beautiful relationship with Rajeev.
