Soundarya Rajinikanth Visits Temple To Pray For Father, Rajnikanth's Health After Hospital Release

After a brief stay at a Chennai hospital, superstar, Rajinikanth was released on October 3, 2024. In his the first remark on X (formerly Twitter), he expressed his gratitude to everyone who had prayed for him. After being released from hospital, his daughter, Aishwarya Rajinikanth went to Navratri puja.

Rajinikanth’s daughter, Soundarya reportedly went to the Tiruvottiyur Shri Vadivudai Amman Temple in Chennai to pray for her father before his discharge, according to ANI. On October 4, 2024, Aishwarya shared a photo on her Instagram stories featuring herself and friends at a Navratri puja hosted by actress, Pritha Vijayakumar, who portrayed Rajinikanth’s daughter in the film, Padayappa. Aishwarya looked genuinely happy in the picture.

Rajnikanth expressed his sincere gratitude to all his political friends who wished him a speedy recovery, his friends from the film fraternity, well-wishers, the press, and the media. He also extended heartfelt thanks to the fans who had made him who he was, kept him alive with their love, and prayed for his well-being. He took to his X handle and posted in Tamil:

 "To all my political friends who wished me a speedy recovery, to all my film fraternity friends, to all my well-wishers, the press and media, my sincere thanks to you all. And to the fans who have made me, who keep me alive and love me immeasurably, praying for my well-being. I express my sincere gratitude to you all.”

He also shared a separate post, thanking PM Narendra Modi, Tamil Nadu CM, MK Stalin, Andhra Pradesh CM, Chandrababu Naidu, and Governor of TN, Ravi, for inquiring about his health and sending good wishes. Praising Amitabh Bachchan, 'Thalaiva' wrote:

“Thank you @SrBachchan ji for your love and showing such warm concern towards me …truly touched.”

Superstar, Rajinikanth admitted to hospital for aorta treatment

As per the announcement, on September 30, 2024, Rajinikanth was admitted to Apollo Hospital for aorta treatment. He underwent non-surgical transcatheter treatment for a bulge in the Aorta, the major blood artery that leaves the heart. According to them, a stent was implanted in the Aorta by senior interventional cardiacologist, Dr. Sai Satish, which sealed off the bulge using an endovascular repair process. According to ANI, he was released from the hospital on October 3, 2024, at approximately 11:00 p.m. 

On the work front, Rajinikanth will shortly appear in Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel, which opens in theatres on October 10, 2024. Amitabh plays the main part in the movie as well. He intends to aim for the role of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie.
