South sensation, Ram Charan, a familiar face in the South Indian film industry, has won people's hearts across the nation with his mesmerising performances. Beyond his professional achievements, Ram Charan is a loving family man and a dedicated father. In 2012, he took the plunge and married his beloved, Upasana Kamineni Konidel. Their joy was multiplied when they welcomed their daughter, Klin Kaara, into their lives in 2023 almost a decade later.
Ram Charan recently sat for an interview with the TOI, where he was asked about his relationship with his daughter, Klin Kaara. The Southern superstar revealed that during the first six months, he felt nothing towards his daughter apart from a sense of responsibility. Later on, while talking to his friend, he realised that it is normal for mothers to connect faster with their babies, and fathers do take time. In Ram's words:
"During the first six months, I felt nothing, except a sense of responsibility and the fact that a new member of the family had joined us. I was amazed at the bond that a mother and child share and I just could not replicate that. Then I spoke to a friend of mine who is also a senior parent, and he told me that it happens and it's normal to feel that way and that he didn't feel that kind of connection with his second child until nearly a year after her birth."

Ram added that his daughter, Klin, has now started recognising people and misses him when he is not at home. Ram explained that now he feels more attached to Klin, and doesn't like going out much, and wants to spend time with the little one. Ram said:
"Now that Klin is interacting and recognising people, she misses me when I am not at home, the whole ball game changed. I feel left out when I am not around her, so I don't feel like going out."
In the same interview, Ram added that at least twice a day, he feeds Kiln and finds joy in doing so as he gets to spend quality time with the munchkin. He credits himself for being an excellent feeder to his daughter, as he has practice now. In Ram's words:
"I feed Klin at least twice a day; I love doing that. I do my readings with her, too. Upasana (wife) is a fantastic parent, but when it comes to feeding her, no one can beat me. I can get her to finish the whole bowl of food, I have some superpower when it comes to this."

In the heartfelt conversation, Ram Charan expressed his deep concern for his daughter's future. He shared that he envisions a different path for her, one that mirrors her mother, Upasana's, successful journey as a businesswoman. His wants to avoid competing with his daughter in the acting space stems from a genuine concern for her well-being, as he believes the family already has a surplus of actors. In Ram's own words:
"Personally, I feel that if she explores her mother's side, it will be great because we have so many actors on my side we are so confused with so many releases in a year, and we are all fighting for release dates. Now I don't want to fight with my daughter in this space."
