Recently, a fake wedding card of Ranbir and Alia had taken the internet by storm and now, if the latest report of iDiva is to be believed Ranbir and Alia are getting hitched in France in November which means just two weeks from now. And the most difficult and important task of curating the wedding ensemble for Alia and Ranbir has been given to the ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The report further reported that the duo has been busy with ace designer Sabyasachi for their wedding ensembles.
When we attend a wedding, all we wait for is the food to get served. Mouthwatering and scrumptious delicacies are the highlight of any wedding and when it comes to a celebrity wedding everything has to be perfect and top-notch. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding delicacies are going to be Virushka’s (Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma) way. As per the report in iDiva, the duo has approached Chef Ritu Dalmia who also had organized the food delicacies and catering services at Virat-Anushka's grand wedding in Italy.
Recently, we had stumbled upon an invitation card of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s January 2020 engagement. The card that had gone viral on the internet could be read as “Mrs. Neetu & Mr. Rishi Kapoor cordially invite you for the Sagan Ceremony of their son Ranbir with Aliya (D/o Mrs. Soni & Mr. Mukesh Bhatt on Wednesday, 22th January 2020 5:00 pm onwards. Venue: Umaid Bhavan Palace Circuit House Rd, Jodhpur, Rajasthan – 342006." If you look closely at the card, you will find multiple spelling and grammatical mistakes which had proved that the card was fake. In the sagan invitation card, the spelling of Alia was wrongly spelt as ‘Aliya’ and the card had mentioned the daughter of Mukesh Bhatt which was again wrong as Alia is the daughter of Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan. Speculations and gossips become a part and parcel of your life the moment you enter the showbiz world and especially when you belong to a filmy background. However, daily rumours and speculations about their personal life do make the celebs and their family member irked. Similarly, Alia’s mother, Soni Razdan was also angry by the fake card. In a chat with the Bombay Times, she had said, “It’s a non-issue. Please, don’t give these miscreants more publicity than they deserve.” Alia’s uncle, Mukesh Bhatt also clarified the news in the same conversation and had said, “Alia is busy shooting for Sadak 2 in Ooty. I have got a call from all over the country inquiring about the same. How can it be real? It’s sad. There are so many mistakes on the card.”
In an interview with the DNA, the Gully Boy actress had talked about her wedding and had said, “I’m too young to think about it. When I feel there’s a need to be in a stronger bond with him, we will come to it. But right now, I’m married to my work and I also have my relationship going well on the side." In an interview with the Filmfare, Alia had shared Ranbir’s reaction to all the rumours and had said, “And about getting married? Well, that’s the only thing that’s irritating right now. Every morning I wake up to the news that I’m getting married. I tell him what the hell. I guess he’s used to it."
Earlier rumours were a riff that the duo will be tying the knot in early 2020, to this the Raazi actress was quoted as saying in the same interview, “I don’t understand the need for everyone to discuss this (my wedding) all the time. But then, I think to myself that it’s a simple question and my answer remains the same. If I’m not getting married right now, that’s what I’ll say.
