It is going to be a year since Coronavirus was declared a global pandemic. The year 2020 became a nightmare for all of us as we tried our level best to get used to the 'new normal world', wherein masks are a must-have accessory and social distancing became a necessity. From getting used to the lockdown in half of the world to dealing with the economic crisis, everyone tried their best to understand the uncertain times. However, the worse was when we had gotten the news of many famous Tinseltown personalities' demise. Every news came as a thunderbolt, and we all tried our level best to accept the truth. Amidst it, the news of Bollywood actor, Rishi Kapoor's demise had left all of us broken, but the Kapoor family had stood with patience and calm and had handled the difficult situation. In all the chaos, it was Ranbir Kapoor's girlfriend, Alia Bhatt, who had stood like a pillar of strength for the Kapoor family. We have often seen the Kapoor and the Bhatt families coming together to celebrate each other's victories and special occasion.
On January 3, 2020, Ranbir Kapoor's sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni took to her Instagram handle and posted a throwback picture from Christmas dinner of the Kapoors and the Bhatts. In the picture, we can see Alia donning a black dress and a red Santa headband, while Ranbir was seen in a casual denim shirt. We also spotted Riddhima posing with her mommy, Neetu Kapoor, Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan. Alongside the lovely picture, Riddhima wrote, "Love."
For those who don't know, Neetu ji shares a warm bond with Ranbir's girlfriend, Alia. We remember on Neetu ji's birthday, Alia had penned a lovely note. She had posted an IG story with Neetu ji's throwback picture. Alongside it, she had written, "Happy Happy Birthday @neetu54 You have and always will inspire me every single day. Love you too much." Talking about Alia and Ranbir's relationship, in an interview with the Bombay Times, Alia had talked about her beautiful relationship with Ranbir and how it has grown with time. She had shared, that it's not a relationship, but rather it's a friendship. The actress had also shared that her relationship is the most beautiful. She had further added, "I'm saying this with all genuineness and honesty. It's beautiful. I'm walking on stars and clouds right now. The best part is that we're two individuals who are living our own professional lives in its full form right now. He's shooting continuously. So am I. It's not a situation where you'll see us constantly together. That's the true mark of a comfortable relationship. Nazar na lage."

Coming back to Ranbir and Alia's love story, it was in the year 2018 when Ranbir had decided to let the world know about the leading lady in his life.
