Since decades, the role of a man and woman is divided as while the former is a breadwinner, the latter is expected to be a homemaker. Thanks to modernisation, men and women have together taken steps towards achieving gender equality and we are finally seeing Ki & Ka in real-life. Not just common people, celebs too, have been sharing household responsibilities with their wives, be it Shahid Kapoor stepping in the kitchen to cook for his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor for the first time in five years or Kunal Kemmu helping his wife, Soha Ali Khan in peeling peas. Even the Kapoors aren’t behind when it comes to stepping into the kitchen to satiate their foodie self. Another glimpse of the Chef of the Kapoor house was seen in 2017, when Saif Ali Khan had cooked for their family barbeque dinner. Ahead of the release of Saif’s film, Chef, the actor was seen exercising his culinary skills in the kitchen. Can you guess who was the sous-chef? It was none other than Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s cousin, Ranbir Kapoor. Their other cousin, Zahaan Kapoor was on the barbeque duty while Ranbir chopped for the dinner and Saif prepped the meal. Lolo and Bebo were busy taking pictures as men had taken over the kitchen. Karisma had posted a collage of their barbeque night and had captioned it as “Our very own #masterchefs #cookout #barbaque #flambéing #foodies #myfamily #friends #lovelyevening #aboutlastnight.”
One thing apart from the acting talent that the Kapoor sisters have inherited from their star Kapoor family is the love for food. Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan are big-time foodies and their pictures have been proof of it. Sometime back, Karisma had posted a childhood picture with Kareena as they both had relished their favourite food at a party. Twinning in white and black outfits, Karisma had captioned her candid picture with Kareena as "Twinning since childhood #throwbackthursday #sisterlove #alwaysandforever #familygoals #fooodies #stylegoals.” Later, Kareena had posted the same picture on her IG handle and had captioned it as "Some of my happiest memories are from my childhood, which shaped me into what I am today."
