As expected, the critically acclaimed director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal's madness has taken over the entire country. From people praising Ranbir Kapoor's intense acting to Bobby Deol blowing everyone's minds with his acting, Animal has fired all cylinders when it comes to violence. Although there are numerous debates on the internet over Rashmika Mandanna's character development, Tripti Dimri's bold scene is the one that has left everyone speechless.
With all the bloodshed shown in the film, Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film, Animal managed to get one of the biggest openings ever at the box office on a non-holiday release. Despite Animal's lengthy runtime and adult certification, it has managed to break numerous records at the box office.

Animal was released on November 1, 2023, opposite Vicky Kaushal's Sam Bahadur and simply overshadowed the biographical drama with its violence and Ranbir Kapoor's acting masterclass.
As per the famous Bollywood trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, Animal collected Rs. 76 crores (Rs. 63.80 crores net) on day 1. While the film's Hindi version collected Rs. 60 crores (gross), South Indian languages collected Rs. 16 crores (gross), which takes the overall total to Rs. 76 crores. It is the biggest start for an A-rated film in the history of Indian cinema.

Not just in India, Ranbir Kapoor's Animal also broke numerous records in the international market, as the film made a superb collection of Rs. 46 crores. Not only this, Animal also earned Rs. 10 crores through the film's premiere. Taking just the box-office collection in perspective, Animal has earned around Rs. 120 crores on its opening day.
After Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan, it is now Ranbir Kapoor, who has managed to get a global opening of Rs. 100 crores. The way Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal has received such an exceptional opening despite being an adult film has set the bar too high for Indian filmmakers.

One of the biggest high points of the film is placed in its post-credits scene by the film's director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The director has clearly confirmed that the second part is going to come soon, and he has already revealed the plot. Ranbir Kapoor is going to play a dual role in the sequel, which is titled Animal Park. The film has paved the road for the film's sequel in the most gruesome manner, and it reminds people of Vikram's post-credits scene that introduced Suriya's character, 'Rolex'. The chills are going to be there, so don't miss it!
