Ever since Alia Bhatt announced the news of her pregnancy, netizens are eagerly waiting for every detail about the same. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are very private people and like to keep things low-key. However, there have been a lot of reports lately that the actress is carrying twins, but nothing is confirmed yet.
A few days back, a report of IWM Buzz had stated that the soon-to-be parents, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are expecting twins. The report also revealed that a renowned astrologer has predicted that the couple would have twin boys.

In an interview with FilmiBeat, Ranbir Kapoor was asked since a majority of names in his family start with the letter R, will the baby’s name will also start with the same initials. Answering the question, Ranbir shared that he and his wife, Alia have a list of names ready for their kid but they have not decided any particular one. The soon-to-be papa also revealed that when he will hold his baby for the first time, whatever name will come to his mind looking at the baby’s face, he will name it accordingly.
During the promotions of Gully Boy, Alia had graced the dance reality show, Super Dancer. During the promotions, when a participant misspelt her name as Almaa, Alia had happily responded:
"Almaa bhut hi sunder naam hai, main apni beti ka naam Almaa rakhugi."

In an interview with Indian Express, Ranbir Kapoor had talked about balancing life after the birth of their child. Talking about how the couple is planning to share their responsibilities, Ranbir expressed his wish to have a different dynamic with his child and had said:
“Alia and I have been talking about it for some time now, how we’re going share our responsibilities and how we’re going to share our time. We grew up in a generation where our fathers were quite busy with work and were not around us, so more or less we’ve been brought up by our mothers, so we were close to our mothers. I want to have a different dynamic with my children, I want them to be close to me also."
On the professional front, Ranbir will be next seen in the film, Shamshera.
