Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram have been winning the internet for quite some time now, ever since they got hitched in the dreamiest wedding celebrations in Imphal, Manipur. Ditching all kind of grandeur and glamour, the couple exchanged vows on November 29, 2023, following Meitei rituals. While the glimpses from their wedding were awe-inspiringly beautiful, it was Randeep who won hearts by reflecting his love and dedication towards Lin’s cultural roots. Fast forward to now, the couple is all set to host a grand wedding reception in Mumbai on December 11, 2023. Ahead of their big day, we caught hold of their bespoke e-invite.
While scrolling through our social media feed, we came across a glimpse of Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram’s virtual invitation for their grand Mumbai reception, scheduled to take place on December 11, 2023. The invite consisted of a beautiful logo created by the initials of the couple’s name, followed by their wedding date. Designed in neutral hues, the invite features motifs of a lotus and a horse shoe. The note on the invite read as:
“You are cordially invited to celebrate the union of Randeep and Lin for a reception sundowner. Monday, 11th December 2023. 5 PM onwards.”

A few days back, we came across a special glimpse of the hand-circulated reception invitation of Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram. The invite majorly consisted of a hamper, that had an assortment of sweets and other edible items. However, the highlight of it all was the addition of dried flowers, acorns, pine nuts and a real horse shoe. Well, for those wondering about the significance of having something as unusual as a horse shoe, it reflects luck and protection for the newlywed couple, as well as carries the essence of prosperity, union and depth of their relationship.
In an interview with ANI right before their wedding, Randeep Hooda opened up on his decision to get married following his wife, Lin Laishram’s Meitei cultural roots. The actor mentioned how he considered it a respectful gesture and added that he wishes to imbibe his partner’s traditions. In his words:
"I felt that it’s only respectful to come and marry in the bride’s traditions. I look forward to the ceremony and experiencing my partner’s culture. I just hope I don’t make any mistakes."

It was back on November 30, 2023, when Randeep and Lin shared the much-awaited glimpses from their wedding. They looked breathtaking, as they wore traditional Manipuri wedding ensembles. While Randeep wore a white kurta and matching shawl, along with a dhoti, along with a traditional Manipuri turban, called kokyet. Lin, on the other hand, turned a true-blue Manipuri bride as she wore the traditional potloi in magenta-hue. She teamed it with a black blouse, featuring exquisite embroidery. However, the star of her overall look was her choice of stunning gold jewellery.
