Randeep Hooda is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood. Loved by his fans for his amazing craft, Randeep made his acting debut with the movie, Monsoon Wedding. Apart from that, he was also seen in movies like Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster, Rang Rasiya, Highway, and Sarbjit, among many others. Moreover, it was his recent film, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, which brought him a lot of fame and recognition. For his role in the movie, the actor lost 32kgs, and his dedication was simply praiseworthy. Recently, in an interview, Randeep walked down memory lane and revealed how he used to earn money as a student and it's all things inspiring.
Recently, Randeep Hooda sat for an interview with Bollywood Bubble, wherein he revealed that during his student days, he used to work as a taxi driver in Melbourne, Australia. The actor also recalled being a waiter at a Chinese restaurant for the sake of earning money and revealed that he was not able to see his future at that moment, which is still the same now. Randeep mentioned that here, people have an attitude that says, 'Whatever happens, we will see, ' which he also follows. He can be quoted as saying:
"Back in the 90s, I drove a taxi for three years to make money as a student. I was pretty good at it. Us waqt aisa lagta tha ki koi future hee nahin dikh raha hai. Abhi bhi aisa hee lagta hai. Main darta tab bhi nahin tha aur ab main darta ab hi nahin hoon isliye kyunki main jaat hoon aur hamara yahi attitude hai, ‘Jo hoga dekha jaega.’"

Going further in the interview, Randeep Hooda mentioned that despite being a taxi driver, he used to earn a hefty amount of money than other taxi drivers, as he used some tactics. Sharing more about the same, Randeep revealed that back when he was working as a taxi driver, he would know the busiest roads and the best timings when people would possibly need taxis, and it made him stand out of the crowd and earn more than others. In Randeep's words:
"I knew which routes would get me, passengers, when the night clubs would open and close and at what time people left from offices. This helped me earn more than the rest of the taxi drivers I knew."
For those who don't know, Swatantrya Veer Savarkar marked Randeep Hooda's directorial debut as well, for which he had worked extremely hard. Talking about the same in an interview with Ranveer Allahabadia, Randeep revealed that for the film, he had to let go of all the properties that his father had bought for him in Mumbai. The actor added that he had spent all the money on the film.

Talking about Randeep Hooda's personal life, the actor got married to the love of his life, Lin Laishram, as per Meitei rituals on November 29, 2023. For their wedding day, Lin stunned in a traditional Manipuri outfit, potloi, while Randeep looked dapper in a white dhoti-kurta with a matching turban and a safa. Following their wedding, Randeep and Lin had two receptions. For their Mumbai reception, Lin looked pretty in a dual-toned saree and teamed it with a full-sleeve sequinned blouse. On the other hand, Randeep looked handsome in a black kurta and matching pants.
