Bollywood's veteran actor, Randhir Kapoor, is known for his blunt nature and jolly personality. Recently, he revealed the details of his relationship with Babita Kapoor and how it had started. Bollywood actor, Randhir Kapoor and his wife, Babita Kapoor, had gotten separated when Kareena Kapoor was just 7-years-old.
The entire world knows that Babita had raised her two daughters, Karisma and Kareena, all by herself and had shown the world that single mothers can give a pleasant future to their kids, without any outside help. In many media interactions, the Kapoor sisters have always heaped praises for their mother for being a single mom.

During an appearance in The Kapil Sharma Show with his daughter, Karisma Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor opened up on how his relationship with Babita brewed. Randhir shared that he was doing time pass when he was dating his estranged wife, Babita. However, his parents, Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj Kapoor, stepped in and had fixed their wedding.
Randhir said, "Main timepass kiye jaa raha tha. He was like, ‘Shaadi vaadi karne ka iraada hai ki nahi?’ (I was whiling away time. My father asked if I had any intention of getting married)" The veteran actor further quipped that he never got the chance to propose as his parents did that on his behalf.

Earlier, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Randhir Kapoor had talked about what went wrong in his relationship. He had said, "She found that I was a terrible man who drank a lot and came home late, which was something she didn't like. And I didn't want to live the way she wanted, and she couldn't accept me as I am, though it was a love marriage. So it's okay. We had two lovely children to look after. She brought them up in the best way, and they have excelled in their career. What else could I have asked for as a father?"
