A mother’s emotions are the most genuine ones, no matter whether she has given him/her birth or whether she has chosen another medium. For her top priority is always her child, she goes out of her way to fulfil any demand of her child. Bollywood is filled with adorable mothers, who dote on their children and there are some, who didn’t restrict themselves to conceive naturally and had adopted their little ones. Sushmita Sen and Raveena Tandon are among the few, who had taken the bold step of adoption and following their footsteps is none other than Kangana Ranaut’s sister, Rangoli Chandel. On February 23, 2020, Rangoli took to her Twitter handle and showered praises on Sushmita Sen for adopting her two daughters, Renne and Alisah. Rangoli’s tweet can be read as “I salute Sushmita sen, a mother is a mother to every child not just strictly my gene carrying chromosomes type of mother, media need to encourage parents who go beyond their petty chromosomes type emotions and reach out to a longing little soul.” She also clarified her stand on surrogacy and tweeted, “Arrey bhai mujhe kyun phasa rahe ho, surrogacy is a great option for people with medical complications I feel it’s unfair if you are already biological parents you already have children toh phir population explosion ke bare mein bhi socho bhai that’s all.”

At the screening of Kangana's film, Panga, she had revealed a bizarre fear of her sister, Rangoli. She had shared, "When my sister gave birth to her child, she sent me a few pictures and she is like, ‘I want to post them.’ I said, ‘You’re on the hospital bed and they have cut you open. Why do you want to post it?’ She is like, ‘Because tomorrow, they will say that this is not my child. Looking at the media, I am 100 per cent sure they will say this. Ek toh he is so white and like you, they will say isne yahaan transfer kar diya'."
In an interview with the Femina, Kangana had talked about the bond she shares with her sister, Rangoli. She had said, "Rangoli has never been an ambitious person. She has always had a close set of people that she cares deeply for and confides in. And today as a mother to her baby (Prithviraj), she is even more exclusive. This baby is the centre of Rangoli’s existence today. Sometimes I only get to talk to her once in three days."
