Rani Mukerji is a powerhouse of talent, and there can be no second thoughts about the same. The diva has been ruling Indian cinema like a true queen for so many decades now, and there seems to be no end to her charisma on-screen. Ever since she made her debut in the Bengali movie, Biyer Phool in 1996, the actress hasn’t looked back on her career. In her personal life, the actress is married to eminent film producer and director, Aditya Chopra, and the duo is blessed with a daughter, Adira.
In an interaction with Pinkvilla, Rani Mukerji made some candid revelations about her daughter, Adira. For the unversed, Rani and her husband, Aditya Chopra have opted for a no-picture policy for their little one, and so quite less is known about her to the world. During the interaction, Rani was asked whether her daughter has watched any of her films, and which one of it does she love the most. In response, the actress gave a very sweet response, and mentioned:

“So, actually she has not seen all my films because she is very young but her favorite film of mine out of the films that I’ve shown her is Hum Tum because that is the only film I’ve not cried much because she gets affected when she sees me cry onscreen. She can’t differentiate between her mumma and the character.”

In continuation with her revelation, Rani Mukerji then revealed that her daughter can’t really sit all through the duration of watching the films, that her mother has enacted in. Revealing the reason behind the same, the actress shared how her daughter cannot bear to see her mommy cry anytime. In her words:
“So, when I cry on screen she feels mumma is crying and mumma is hurt. So, she can’t complete a film of mine because mere har film mein koi na koi rone ka scene hai. So, I think when she becomes a little older, maybe she will be able to watch all my films in a way that she’ll disconnect me from my character.”
Well, Rani Mukerji is one such actress, who more than anything else, gets showered a lot of love for her off-screen charismatic personality. Moreover, she is hailed by many for her deep connectedness towards her Bengali cultural roots. Proof of the same is found in the diva’s annual presence at her Mukherjee household’s Durga Puja celebrations in Mumbai. Speaking along the same lines, previously, in an interview with The Times of India, Rani talked about her daughter, Adira, who too has adapted to her mommy’s Bengali cultural roots. And revealed that the little one has taken onto the taste of kadak chai in a kulhad, that gets served in every Durga Puja pandal.

Earlier, while speaking at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, Rani Mukerji divulged an unheard revelation about her personal life. She mentioned getting pregnant for a second time in 2020. However, she unfortunately lost her baby five months into her pregnancy, after suffering a miscarriage. She mentioned:
“Maybe this is the first time I am making this revelation because, in today’s world, every aspect of your life is discussed publicly, and becomes an agenda for talking about your film to get more eyeballs. Obviously, I didn’t speak about this when I was promoting the film because it would have come across as me trying to speak about a personal experience that would propel the film…so, it was around the year when COVID-19 struck. It was 2020. I got pregnant with my second baby at the end of 2020 and I unfortunately lost my baby five months into my pregnancy."
